@Harold Richardson: You can add a tripod in to the setup by placing the feet in to the 3 clamps on SkatePlate. Joby's GorillaPod Focus work best, but any tripod is do-able! The higher the tripod, the less stable and the more vibrations you will get in the camera, that's why the GorillaPod works best. SkatePlate's clamps are made specifically for the GorillaPod and it locks it in very tightly to eliminate vibrations.

A T3i is at the upper limit for miniSkates + SLR-Zoom. You can increase the weight capacity by adding a SkatePlate ( you can get one by becoming a Kickstarter backer at cinemoco dot com. Or go with the CineSkates + Focus :) Thanks!
