By the way I cancelled all of their service being digital cable and high speed internet and the rep. that took that call offered me a free month of service and HBO as well as a $25 a month discount for 6 months, I mentioned the call and service trouble and she stated they have no record of any calls! LOL $215.99 a month more in my pocket!

Hey man, same problem in south Florida in 2009 and 2010, Comcast called me and the rep. put him and a supervisor on the line and threatened me for about 45 mins. they told me I would have to buy a commercial line to use 750GB a month. Also, they told me the limit was 250GB but I was on 200GB because I didn't understand how to limit myself. They said that they would terminate service to my house without notice and if I disregarded their requests they may file a claim against me or report me for downloading from certain torrent sites. I asked if I was being monitored, (how did they know I was torrenting) and they responded this is a warning DO YOU UNDERSTAND SIR very rudely I may add and refused to address my question. Comcast sucks and so does their "fast" service. I topped out at 3-9 Mbps paying $59.99 a month, what a joke! Thanks man

Comcast Security called me today wanting me to explain why did i download in June of 2010 over a terabyte of stuff.and i told him that i have (3) other room mates that are connected to my router,then the fucker asked me for names...
i laughed and said sorry that`s confidential...he gave a long pause and then said..''i don`t care what you downloaded...just stop or next time i`m out for a whole year that the limit is 250GB a month'', now am I guilty of downloading over 780GB??? FUCK YEAH....Aint this America? I pay taxes,and i pay for my services...what`s next?

Joe, I stumbled across your videos today, and I'm in agreement with your position. I had Comcast for two months, and in that time I went through 4 cable modems because Comcast didn't want to listen to me on the concept of DHCP and refurbished modems. I made sure to record every phone call with their representatives, and it helped me when I canceled my service because the girl who said she canceled it for me lied. When I returned the equipment to the local store five days later, I was still paying for service that was never terminated, so I called that representative's boss and told him about the recorded conversation as proof of his employee lying to me. Consequently, the early cancellation fee was waived, and I received a $57 refund check.
