I have a Nortel 7000-series system at home and have worked with a Nortel Meridian 1 (M1) switchboard at work. We had the M1250 and M2250 operators console (they where so great working with) plus the M2616 & M3820 callcenter phones.

I was thinking of getting a meridian system for myself, and have been looking around on ebay for a while. just had a question that I thought you'd be able to answer. what do I need in terms of the amphenol cable and the punchdown block? are they sold pre-assembled or would I have to wire that myself?
I have it all working now, except call waiting. How did you get that working on the i2004's? It works on my SIP based 1120e, but not on the i2004. I have model NTEX00BA (The model that was made in Australia), if it matters.

I am trying to set up a Trixbox, and I am having problems getting my incoming calls to work. The Trixbox system answers, and immediately says "Goodbye" and terminates the call. I don't know what the problem is, but I am using a Gizmo SIP trunk. I am pretty sure that the problem is with the Trixbox, but have no idea how to fix it. Would you help me?
