hey thom, i love your channel. let me start by saying my mother was a dear frind of your fathers, her name is roni stoneman, i think you might know her as well. you know i come from a large musical family, with all the pickers in my family, your father is the reason i play the guitar. my mother did not want me to play, but she said if you must you have to learn travis pickin!!! i met travis @ the texas proud awards show here in nashville in 1983, i shook the hand of greatness!!! i have a lot to thank you for, you have improved my pickin ten fold!!!!! you are awsome!! everywhere i play i play a few travis tunes & hangin with the girls i know! i love that tune. i try to educate people everywhere about thumb pickin. thats the stuff!!! just wanted to say thanks, you are great!!!! you made me a better picker, robert

I ran across you when I was looking for Williams and Ree. You were shooting some video for a trip to and around Alaska. I started watching your videos, and I said to myself, how come I've never heard of this guy? He's flippin' awesome, and I forgot abou Williams and Ree.
