BenSem, the UK indie rock band, release their debut album Western Lights worldwide in Spring 2009. Their first single Sunshine releases this November.

Already acclaimed in music circles and world press prior to its release, Western Lights embodies front man Sems emotive themes through a spectrum of styles: from the upbeat powerful Science Project to slower eerie heartfelt tunes like Constant Dream.

BenSem have an attitude of indifference about other music they are only concerned with what they do, not how other bands do it. There is no doubt that they are on the edge when creating and performing their music: they give up everything for the moment when they play. Upon listening you will understand the introspective band that the press describes as genre unspecific and world class. Above all BenSem hope that their music is honest. Just listen
