my name is steve cain i live in jacksonville florida, usa. i purchased a lombardini genset with the 6ld325 motor. i am having a very hard time getting it to run; when i brought it home i discovered it was in fact a new/unused unit that the govt' here had placed in storage and apparently forgotten...anyway the fuel was rotten clogged etc. etc... i cleaned out the fuel tank , filter and injector pump. i was able to get fuel out of the injector line at the connection to injector so i know the line has been bled properly. however it still will not start or run past the amount of fuel you can put in the prime port. i think the injector itself is clogged? if so do you have any advice on clearing it? any help at all here? the unit is new and i only paid 190.00 u.s. at auction so if i have to put a little money into it thats ok too.
