I would like to know if you can talk about ARC or automatic reference counting in Xcode 4.2. There are some things in it that I don't understand like week and strong reference and why we still have to use autorelease.
Will ARC make Automatic Garbage Collection obsolete or just another option for us to use.
Today i watched the 1st tutorial-getting started which i really enjoyed. However i have to admit that i have no idea in programming what so ever, hence i would like to ask if you think that a guy who never experience in programing can learn how to program mac applications by your tutorial from scratch?
Yours, another new subscriber.
Thanks
thanks for the cool Stuff, Lucas. I have a book called "The c Programming language". Theres a lot of examples and exercises. At some point the code does not run
for example: int getline(char line[], int maxline); void copy(char to[], char from[]);
Theres an error message saying "symbols not found" How can I get this to work
Thanks
Best
Tim
