About Me:
 
I have a lot of respect and confidance in the human race even when it seems pretty shaken.At the same time I also have my own individual beliefs about love,life and faith.As far as I know I was one of only two children in Bangor Maine raised in a biracial family-my father has an Irish backround and my mother is of African American/Puerto Rican extraction.I was never perfect acidemically however I was encouraged to have a love of words and self expression early on,much to my friends and family's chargrin.I am also gay.I have known that since I was a young child but wanted to learn more about what gay men went through in life as opposed to others-being already somewhat of an ethnic minority I didn't want too much more hassle to have to contend with.That part has been simple,except in terms of relationships as with anyone. Right now the friends I have made here will be of the upmost importance.I promise I will be a good friend to you.I am a photographer who loves art-I also paint on the side.Being a socially aware individual many of these paintings and photographs have some kind of socially conscientious ethic to them. However I try to be as unpretentious as possible with this medium as not to alienate the people who I deem of the highest importance.I also love music.I always regretted I never fully learned to play an instrument.The kind of music I like to listen to primarily is soul (all types),jazz,fusion and rock n' roll.Anything inspiring that has some sense of artistic innovation to it and that communicates with people in some kind of way.I have never quite become accustomed to opera lol-most of it comes off as a somewhat antiquated presentation. What am I seeking in life now?Friends and understanding people who enjoy conversation,especially of the fairly intellectually challanging variety and anyone who don't foolishly try to or coerce me into behaving in one way.
Human emotions are like colors-some are bright,some dim,some in the middle and some shades of grey.The world wouldn't be what it is without color and neither are we,racially or esthetically.Feelings are not positive or negative-it is how we react to them that makes it either way.Of course outside all the philosophising I can also be very witty,charming and funny in an average setting.So you are looking at a friendly person who is enjoyable to speak with.It's very risky here on the internet to say what I am about to say but my yahoo! Your vintage WLBZ stuff is wonderful. How did you ever get all that stuff? Thanks so much for sharing, I think a lot of Mainers are going to watch these with a tear in their eye and fond memories in mind. I read your profile and you're a pretty unique guy. Youtube is a better place because guys like you post here. Keep up the good work.
