About Me:
With a reputation for delivering anointed spoken word performances and striking motivational speeches that edify and invite hearers to take their own leap towards cultivating their God made self, Alaina Odessa is quickly making a name for herself as a Christian poetess, author, writer, and professional speaker. Specializing in human development and spiritual psychology, Alaina has a strong track record of exceeding expectations. As the freshman poet/author on the scene, she's quickly gaining reputable notice for her brisk selling publication, Slow Running Honey first born poems of salvation.
After earning a Master's Degree in Human Resources from North Carolina A&T State University, Alaina was poised to conquer the corporate world. God had other plans. After months of unsuccessful attempts to make even an entry level step into the field of human resources, she fell into deep depression. After finally crying out to God for help and healing, she started hearing "rhythmic revelations". Slow Running Honey was conceived. The poetry is a smooth mix of proverbs, prophecy & much of Alaina's personal testimony, yet readers come away feeling they've read their own diary of hurts, hopes, and expectations.
Within a year of Slow Running Honey's release, Alaina felt the urge to create and expand a broader platform birthing Alaina Odessa Expressions, a company that uses creative writing, workshops, theatre, and Internet television & radio to help people "cultivate their God made self." Rewriting Life with Alaina Odessa is in the works to air on Internet Radio Station ONPOINT.FM. The weekly hour long program will address current affairs from a Kingdom perspective and support independent Christian artists & authors in their platform expansion. The Wisdom Workshops Series (TWWS), a seven weeks spiritual development program, launched in May 2011 to serve as the chief educational tool Alaina Odessa Expressions uses for a deeper exploration of the cultivation of the God made self. Alaina Odessa Expressions continues to search for innovative ways to employ their company mission to educate, edify, and foster authentic expression in others through interactive & entertaining learning environments.
Outside her work with Alaina Odessa Expressions, Alaina's passion lies in the arts and community development. She is a Board member of Repairing the Breach Foundation, a start up non-profit founded by Tee Nichole Faulkner and serves as current VP of the High Point Fine Art Guild. She loves giving of herself through public speaking, community service & a host of creative outlets from acting to playing the violin. She loves encouraging adults to entertain their creative curiosities and is known for being a "revival cheerleader" for past gifts and the exploration of childhood interests. She offers inspiring words to attentive audiences about going after their dreams and is quick to remind of the "no fail clause" in Christ. She stresses the importance of self awareness and the willingness to lay our truths before God as the root of all success, as well as how overcoming rejection, the effects of abandonment, and an unforgiving, or harping, mentality will create the life we want.

Okay just read your stuff it is apparent you are not but you are such a gift an Angel. I think in Heaven Alaina must be another word for Angel. I will turn her former emploer on to you so she can meet another inpiring soul with the same name.
