Acronis True Image 10 really saved me on two occasions. I have nearly 8 years worth of stuff on my HP 854n. Over the years I upgraded the memory, video card, etc and it still runs great. After a bout with a stubborn computer virus a few years ago, I bought Acronis and cloned my hard drive onto a similar (but faster) drive. Later when my computer got infected, I merely swapped the HD out with the good one, designated the infected drive as drive D, scanned it, and detected the virus easily. Lots of peace of mind knowing that I have a good hard drive ready to go. Thanks guys!

@wilsonscott9840 Acronis software cannot recover lost or deleted data. If your computer cannot detect the flash drive, there is nothing much we can do. As a workaround, try using the bootable media http://kb.acronis.com/content/­4828 and check if the data can be picked up by our software.

I was sold this product at a well known store, and they told me you can recover data off a flash drive that had never been used with acronis. They examined the drive and saw items can be retrieved from it, yet instead of getting them to repair it, they recommended I buy this software to recover the data that I can still get off the flash drive. When I stick it in my usb reader, my computer tells me that the disk is not formatted. Would you like to format it now? Of course, I tell it "NO". Is this software capable of this kind of retrieval?

video tutorials are terrible. the things you show on the screen do not match with the narration. somebody keeps clicking back and forth on links and another perosn is reading something that really messes up the whole tutorial. Have you ever watched your tutorial see what is going on??

@hjduff87 Acronis True Image enables you to create an image of your entire hard disk drive, including the operating system, applications, user settings, and all data. Use the image to restore your PC to a known working state without any reinstallation.
