About Me:
 
Founded on February 1st, 2007, Acquire is UC Santa Cruz's newest and fastest growing a cappella group. The singers come together twice a week to learn, arrange, and perform the music of their choice. In the first four months as a group, the singers performed all over campus and hosted Acquirefest, the largest a cappella event on campus, bringing in six groups from all over northern California and yielding over 450 people. Since returning this past fall, the group has grown with new members and has traveled outside Santa Cruz County, growing in awareness and reputation. Within its first year, the group has established relationships with over 15 collegiate, adult, and professional singing groups.
