Romans 16:25 KJV

I believe the only way we can follow Christ is to follow Paul:
"For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have BEGOTTEN you through the gospel. Wherefore I beseech you, be ye FOLLOWERS OF ME" (1 Corinthians 4:15-16 kjv).

When Jesus taught during his EARTHLY ministry he was teaching under the law program and was not teaching doctrine for the NEW MAN (Ephesians 2:15) who at that time were aliens without hope and strangers from the covenants of promise (Ephesians 2:12). No, Jesus was sent only unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel:
"But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel." (Matthew 15:24 kjv).

Religious denominational institutes teach that there is only ONE Gospel, while the Bible disagrees:
"But contrariwise, when they saw that THE GOSPEL OF THE UNCIRCUMCISION was committed unto me, as THE GOSPEL OF THE CIRCUMCISION was unto Peter;"
(Galatians 2:7 kjv) .....

"...a DISPENSATION of THE GOSPEL is committed unto me." (1 Corinthians 9:17 kjv).

Paul received a different Gospel than the twelve, and its his Gospel that we will be judged by:
"In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to MY GOSPEL." (Romans 2:16 kjv).

Paul tells us not to think of Christ AS HE WAS in the flesh (during his earthly ministry) but to see him AS HE IS now, the resurrected risen savior from heaven:
"Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more." (2 Corinthians 5:16 kjv).

While Christ was on earth there was no way any person could be IN HIM, but for those of us now who trust that he died for ALL sins (past present and future) and rose from the grave, we are in Christ and the "old things" (all 613 points of law, and Christ's earthly ministry) have passed away, and all things have become new, hence the dispensation of grace:
"Therefore if any man be IN Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." (2 Corinthians 5:17 kjv).

We currently live in the DISPENSATION of GRACE, and before Jesus revealed it to Paul there was no such thing:
"If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is GIVEN ME to youward" (Ephesians 3:2 kjv).

Paul was the first to receive this DISPENSATION (out pouring) of grace:
"Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that IN ME FIRST Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting."
(1 Timothy 1:16 kjv).

Our marching orders are found only in the letters of Paul (Romans thru Philemon), and not in the Old or New Testaments.

We current live in what the Bible calls the "dispensation of the grace of God". It is neither Old or New Testament, but rather a (parenthetical) period placed in between.

This mystery time in between the Old and the New Testament was kept secret and hid in God before the foundation of the world:
"Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was KEPT SECRET since the world began," (Romans 16:25 kjv) .....

"And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been HID IN GOD, who created all things by Jesus Christ:" (Ephesians 3:9 KJV).

In TIME PAST (before Paul) to be saved one must have works attached to their faith .....

Moses:
"And the LORD commanded us TO DO all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.
And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe TO DO all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us." (Deuteronomy 6:24-25 kjv) .....

Jesus ON EARTH:
" And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I DO, that I may have eternal life?
And he said unto him, ...if thou wilt enter into life, KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS." (Matthew 19:16-17 kjv) .....

Peter:
"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and BE BAPTIZED every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." (Acts 2:38 kjv) .....

BUT NOW (after Paul) to be saved, its a GIFT we receive by grace thru faith plus NOTHING:

Jesus FROM HEAVEN:
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9 kjv).
