3dcognition.com is focused on helping people understand how to use software like 3ds Max, Flash, and Game Engines like Unity and Torque.
The biggest tutorial so far is the book Creating Game Art for 3D Engines; check it out on Amazon.com or at the 3dcognition.com website.
If you own this book you have access to a 90-minute, hi-res bonus video tutorial on how to rig and animate a spider, as well as the animated spider model created in 3ds Max 9, and a textured and animated robot character (both characters work well with the Unity game engine). This offer is good through the end of 2010.
Visit http://www.3dcognition.com for more details.

Thanks Swift, Mix, and Wookie. @Wookie - I have an example of fitting bones to a character mesh in the CD that comes with my book Creating Game Art for 3D Engines, and I think there are some excerpts from that video here in this collection.

great vids. Do you have a tutorial on how to put bones inside a character model that you already made? :)

Thanks 1092 and Wobo - appreciate the feedback. Would love to do some more biomechanic stuff but time is scarce; also interested if you find any great links, I'll be glad to add them to my biomech page.

Blade - I can't go into it here, but the basic way to do it is you have to use Video Post. It is a separate module in 3ds Max that lets you use two or more cameras and post process. But I'll tell you what, it's just as good, even better, to just render out your cameras separately and fade them from one to another in a tool like Adobe Premier or other.
