Hello my name is barak i'm an israeli live in tal-aviv, I was a soldier and have fight against hezbuallah in 2006 and hamas in 2008.
In the war of gaza i saw many crimes, the israeli soldiers were without any heart i was always felling bad when see them killing front of me civilians without any reason and when i tell that to our sir he tell me that it's not your job to give advices your job is to kill the enemies.
After the war i couldn't forget the people killed and always had bad dreams, I discovered that really our governoment doesn't have a human heart and in the some time I had in my thinks that muslems are bad also.
One day when i was in the library for search a book to learn more english i found a hebrew book that speak about islam
I bought it but my goal wasn't to become a muslem it was for find the negative points about this religion.
I found that the book really try to give negatives about islam but i was chocked, you know about what?
I discovered the book really was just for show the bad things about islam but with stupid preuves, so i told in myself the
governoment is wrong with its crimes and this book is also wrong with its stupid preuves so who is right? Is it possible the muslems?
So i decided to learn about islam; the defeculty was that the most of website in internet speak about islam give just bad things about it (women'right, terrorism...) i have known that these informations are from anti-islams and i was sure that they lie because it's not possible that 1.5 milliard of people be wrongs and this one who is anti-islam be right. ... I started to read a lot about quran and its descriptions; day after day i was feeling something good in my heart And many days i didn't sleep because i had been very interested and i had a mission that i must complete soon.
The great event in my life was in 4/5/2009 it was 3:30 oclock of the morning i felt of my heart like it was crying And a word got out from my mouth wich was "achehado ana la ilaha ila allah wa achehado ana muhamadan rassolo allah" and
I cried a lot in that night cause of the hapiness that i felt in that moment.
So i became a muslem and i feel now very happy than before my parents have changed their religion to islam too.
I have two ather muslem Isrealian friends they were also jews but they have been converted before me, our problem here is that we can't tell to athers that we are muslems we can't say that to our jew families, to our friends and to our governoment...
I try now to learn a lot about arabic i found many iteresting websites that can help me.
