I live in the suburbs even though I want to be in the country. The master plan is to have a small farm with a garden, some livestock and be 100% self sufficient. 100% off grid living. I hope to achieve this all soon. But in the mean time I prepare myself and my family for the upcoming collapse or natural disasters. In reality I want to live very much like my grandfather did. But with some of the creature comforts we have today. To live like the Amish do but have electricity, running water and use of power tools and cars. I commend them for as a society having survived without becoming a slave to the power grid or other pitfalls of modern society. I am not a "hippie" or a left winger, nor am I an extremist. I am a Christian, I believe in God. I am a "Joe" who is tired of the "elitists" who think they can do whatever they want. NO to Socialism, NO to Fascism, I do NOT need a "big brother" I already have one, and he stays out of my business. I will do whatever it takes to defend myself my family and my constitution.
