I think most of the guys on Lakers played hard tonight but Bulls were also making some careless mistakes as well that cost them dearly in the end. Bynum is great as usual.
When all is said and done, the bottom line is that it's far from over for the Bulls. They started the season off pretty crappy but it seems like they've picked it up. As long as they make it even close to the .500 mark this year they will make it to the playoffs in the east. You look at the west, and you can pretty much bet that having a .500 record guarantees that you won't make it to the playoffs.

oh yeah, read that top to bottom

Ill be back in a little bit with a boxing comparison video. New style for me.

you could tell Kobe was shotjacking when the 3rd quarter was over and he was 4-14 shooting as far as his jump shots and he was 3-3 on dunks. Not to mention at that point he only had one assist. Kobe was ballhogging tonight for the Bulls crowd. Kobe is just a terrible passer who tries to make flashy passes to impress the viewers when the obvious pass is there. Kobe's court vision sucks and he would never be a good point. Guys like Jordan and LeBron or Pippen could run the point no problem. Hell Larry Bird was a better passer than Kobe considering who handles the ball more.
therealbruceblitz | December 18, 2007
Larry Bird was one of the best passing forwards of all time. I mean like that breakaway pass to the Odom dunk at the end of the game, that was an obvious pass to make and I was surprized Kobe didnt try to force a dunk or layup.....Or how about less than 3 minutes left, the Lakers are up by 12 points, Kobe knows he only has 18 points and has been playing like shit so he forces another bad shot and misses again.... once again trying to run up his point total in garbage time....
therealbruceblitz | December 18, 2007
The Bulls played like shit in the 4th and Vujacic couldn't miss a damn shot. The Lakers had 6 damn players in double figures, all of us saw the way the Lakers won without Kobe last year, they won when Odom was healthy and lost when Odom was hurt, they went on a 7 game losing streak I think it was without Odom, I mean damn Odom was killin the boards tonight Odom had 17 points and 16 boards.
therealbruceblitz | December 18, 2007
Kobe played like absolute fucking shit again, Kobe only made 4 out of 16 jumpshots and he made 3 dunks so his 7-19 is not a true indicator of how crappy he played. I think I finally figured out what Kobe is, Kobe Bryant is the greatest and1 player of all time. Kids fell in love with Kobe's style, it hasn't ever actually been that he is really the best player in the game. He's the most well rounded, flashy player in the game and if you didn't play basketball for a sustained period of time, you would be blind to it.
therealbruceblitz | December 18, 2007
They never talk about how LeBron is a bad rebounder or scorer or how he is a bad passer, they always say, well he cant shoot a jumpshot. What they really mean is, "I think kobe looks better when he scores than LeBron. Kobe's shot is so clean..." They need to stop watching mixes and learn what real great players do on a court. It isn't about how you look when you play, man this is so stupid to talk about. Karl Malone highlight reels are boring, look up his achievements. Malone and guys like Bird played 'ugly' and still whipped your ass.

Most people don't know what to look for in players any damn more.... For me, I was a point guard, I know the importance of every possession. When you have a guy out there hot doggin it (as they say) and he's missing 55% of his shots or more in the process, what the hell is the point to having a team? Bill Russell shot 44% and he sure as hell wasn't the main shot taker of his team. Everyone always thinks, oh fg% is just a stat.
therealbruceblitz | December 18, 2007
As a point guard, I was going to try to open up shots for the guy on my team who made the highest percentage of his shots. In my case it was the power foward, he put up 25-30 points per game, and I always found ways to get him the ball. When we first started playing together he was scoring about 6-10 points per game. By the time we had been playing together 2 years he was dominating the other teams. I was a master at drawing a guy's defender off of him, and in high school we faced mostly zone defenses.
