-Gotta be honest... learn from history to not relive it. Adopted in Greece/ U.S. by diplomatic foreign service family: a positive advantage, thank you God, mom, dad for support, education, some love & pleasant memories, everything. Paradox: behind the scenes, negative disadvantage: abuse. Everything forbidden with cruel unusual punishment. Violence against free speech/ polite 'backtalk', birthday cancellations for wearing a tshirt & locked out of house naked for mooning a school bully, confiscation & loss of artwork-all before age13! Ironic final straw: 'You chose boarding school over your own mother, you and i are now strangers' constantly carping family is the most important thing. Family flopped after dad's devastating throat cancer farm retirement where I earned 'privileged life' by forced child labor age 9 to 21. Almost no vacations, friends, free time; hard manual labor: endless chainsaw woodcutting/stacking, weeding
gargantuan garden, collecting/cooking thousands of gallons of maple sap, excruciating pointless work like clearing forrests no one sees, picking up rocks from one place to another, manually manipulating moo manure mountains. Other jobs included shipping offices in Piraeus, college campus maintenance, telesales.. After all that they said "get a job". Overworked, it was not to be. Some good had to come of it..

Balance: playtime as prolific recording artist. Ironically, harder work than ever. Turn negatives into art.

Turning point came when my uncle said, "settle down, quit screwin' round". Ain't started yet! Conclusions:
1. Snobs, flakes, abusers don't matter. Better off without. Turn them into art.
2. Honesty, diplomacy, humanity =best policy. Or, silence is golden, says it all.
3. Work should be part of, not entire, life.
