Map My Summer  
We're a huge and diverse country - the sun shines in Broome, the rain pours in Toowoomba, the surf's up in Byron and the mist settles in the Dandenongs - and our summer is legend. Let's share our collective experiences of this Aussie summer with the world. With your help, we want to create a map of the Australian summer on YouTube. Starting today, you can upload all your summer videos, creating an archive of events, experiences and people from all around the country.

Great idea! Hope you get lots of views! Australia is a truly awesome place with such an infinite amount of things to do!

I made an awesome video of a road trip across this great land in 2009, its not eligable but it was an awesome trip so have a look!

mapmysummer We have an exciting update about our Map My Summer project.

The deadline for submissions to the Map My Summer project has been extended until midnight on Friday 8 April 2011 and the 3-minute time limit has been increased to 5 minutes.

mapmysummer Just a few weeks left to get your videos on the map! Eligible submissions will be considered to be included in a final film to debut at the Sydney Film Festival in June -- Make sure your videos are under 3 minutes in length, and submit before 31 March.

If you've already submitted and don't see your video on the map, make sure you're within the time limit!
