In 2003 Blue Pie Productions formed a new indigenous label. The label was formed to provide a home for the new indigenous music that was finding its way to the label.
The music was flowing in from all over the world from artists, labels, DJ's and our business partners. The Blue Pie www.bluepie.com.au global DJ network we have, started creating some very cool remix's. of some of the cool indigenous sounds that we had in our library. We have grown over the past 4 years now and we have over 150 world music artists on the label now. The strength of Indigenous Blue lies in the World Music partnerships that we have with labels like " Star-Gazer Records", MGN Africa, Tastebuds records, Subsonic Records, Radio Palmwine Nigeria | UK and Vibration Studio's in South Africa. ABOUT INDIGENOUS BLUE:

Where did the name come from? Colin Seeger came up with the name " Indigenous Blue".by blending the Blue Pie and Indigenous music together and hence the name " Indigenous Blue ". The label has some of the best and most experienced people with " World Music " genre working on and in the label today.

ABOUT THE TEAM:

Damien Reilly: Damien is the founder of Indigenous Blue and the CEO of Blue Pie Productions. Damien comes from a musical family and has been in the music industry for over 20 years. He has over 15 years senior management experience in communications and entertainment industry postings. Damien manages the portfolio of artists and is responsible for the commercialisation of our catalogue globally. Blue Pie's extensive digital distribution network, services and partners provide Indigenous Blue with a marketing leading edge over our competitors.

Colin Seeger: Colin Seeger is one of the world's leaders in I.P protection and publishing systems. He is the corporate affairs for Blue Pie and has over 30 years experience in the music industry. We are honoured to have Colin on the team. Colin is the business development and publishing systems development manager and works with Damien on a day to day basis to commercialise our catalogue of content and rights.
