KANDAHAR, Afghanistan - Afghan and NATO-led forces killed 20 Taliban fighters and wounded and captured more in an operation west of the main southern city of Kandahar, the provincial police chief said on Monday. The Zherai district, west of Kandahar, is a hotbed of Taliban activity that has been fought over many times between insurgents and Afghan and mainly Canadian troops. Some villages have changed hands several times. In the capital Kabul, police shot dead a suicide bomber close to the airport on Monday, the Interior Ministry said. The hardline Islamist Taliban relaunched their insurgency to overthrow the pro-Western Afghan government and eject foreign forces with a campaign of guerrilla war in the south and east, combined with suicide attacks across the country.

~WAVES~

Most are tossed and turned by waves.
Some like the sub, ride deep beneath the daily storms in peace.
Some simply surf the waves and have a lot of fun.
Some drown.
You can't stop the waves; it's the nature of the ocean of life.
You can only choose which method you will use to handle them.
You can be tossed like most.
You can drown like many.
You can surf and have fun while you can, but even a surfer gets
tired.
To ride comfortably beneath the waves requires a ship containing
breath that is not our own.
That ship. . .
is not crowded.

Thank you for your comment, dfwtexxas.
Don't worry. The United States of America can deal with this complicated issue and many more, and this may take more time than many would like, but all truly great things are worth it!

ELLIS ISLAND-
The federal immigration station opened on January 1, 1892 and was closed in November 1954, but not before processing 12 million immigrants (estimates range up to 20 million). In the 50 years before Ellis Island opened, over 8 million immigrants had been processed locally by New York State officials at Castle Garden Immigration Depot in Manhattan.
THATS 20-30 MILLION IN 110 YEARS-
THATS PEOPLE WHO WANTED TO COME HERE LEGALLY AND ASSIMILATE AND BE AMERICANS, NOT THE CRIMINALS WE SEE TODAY INVADING AMERICA-
COMPARE THAT WITH 20 MILLION ILLEGALS 1986-2006...NOW UPWARDS OF 3 MILLION PER YEAR COMING ILLEGALLY. PLUS BETWEEN 350,000-500,OOO ANCHOR BABIES BORN EVERY YEAR TO ILLEGALS-
(FASCISM) PERFECT MERGING OF CORPERATION+GOVT=CHEAP IGNORANT ILLEGAL LABOR WHO ASK NO QUESTIONS AS TO WHY AMERICANS ARE BEING SOLD OUT TO THE GLOBAL PLANTATION

A top campaign adviser to Hillary Clinton resigned Thursday. "I made a mistake and in light of what happened, I have made the personal decision that I will step down as the co-chair of the Hillary for President campaign," Bill Shaheen, an attorney, said in a statement released by the campaign Thursday. Clinton said it had nothing to do with Shaheen's earlier comments. However, Ned Helms, said he saw a pattern after the recent resignations of two Clinton volunteer coordinators in Iowa. "When you see a pattern of people making statements and the follow-up statement, 'Oh, that wasn't authorized,' it doesn't take a genius to see that there's a thread going on here," Helms said. "The only way to stop these kinds of tired, desperate attacks is to demonstrate very clearly that they have a real cost to Senator Clinton's campaign," campaign manager David Plouffe wrote. "Make no mistake, this kind of attack is becoming a pattern as Clinton's support declines."
