I'm a singer songwriter form the UK and music plays an immense part of my life. I've been fortunate to work and perform with some great people so far,and I'm enjoying the experiences that come with this path I've chosen.

Q: Where are you?
A: Midlands region of England,UK.
Q: Is this your offical page?
A: Yes, this is the only page I run and post my live performance videos. I do believe there is another channel run by fans called LauraFansite though, with exclusive performances videos from my lives shows etc :)
Q: How do you get the sound quality in your videos to be so good. Are you in a studio?
A: I wish I had a studio-that would be heaven, but alas, I record all my videos in my bedroom using my home computer and use a black bed sheet to block out the ugliness of my room in the background-lol! As far as the recording process goes, I record myself on Magic Music Maker live while filming on my cheapo Microsoft webcam at the same time. I then sync the vocal recording to the video so that the sound quality can be better. I have tried using my webcam mic but it distorts and sounds terrible as soon as I sing loud or higher frequencies. You can see an example of this in the outtakes of my Paparazzi Video :) .
Q: What microphone do you use?
A: Studio Projects TB1 to get the reverb I use a guitar pedal. I dont use any other effects and Im really against tuning effects like auto tune( it one of my pet hates along with miming). You will see from my older videos that I used to use a handheld mic also(This handheld mic was a yoga mic I got from a local electrical store for £25-lol!) The Studio Projects is a little more expensive :)
Q: Are you signed to a label?
A: No.
Q: Do you have a CD?
A: I'm working on original songs right now for my debut release and have posted a couple up on my YouTube Channel. You can hear more over on my myspace page.
Q: Can you sing [insert song request here] ?
A: I appreciate all the requests, but unfortunately I cant fulfill them all due to the sheer volume I get. I will consider them all though and love being thought of x
