Name: Larry
Age: 65
I called myself an agnostic for many years because I think I wrongly defined an atheist as someone who thought he could prove the non-existence of a god. I'm satisfied now that dis-belief in a god is enough. Some might still call me agnostic, because I don't know any more than you do.

I like to write, draw and paint. The writing usually takes the form of short (I hope) funny bits, mostly word play. The drawing is usually cartoons, with occasionally serious stuff. Painting is in watercolor.

I have stopped accepting friend requests generally, because I just don't have time for all the videos being sent to me already. I hope any of you who have sent me requests and received the curt YT message "friend request rejected" will forgive me. I don't like that word "rejected," but I really can't PM everyone and explain that it's nothing personal. When you make videos I may subscribe to you, but I just don't wish to receive any more unsolicited videos.
Country: United States
Occupation: Retired at last! Formerly I was a data analyst (read glorified computer jockey) for a now defunct aerospace company.
Interests and Hobbies: Guess you could call the internet a hobby. Most of my online time is spent on YouTube, with occasional visits to Stickam and LiveVideo.
Movies and Shows: Don't do movies much anymore. All time favorite movie, The Quiet Man
Music: Mostly classical, but I also like jazz, including Dixieland.
Books: Lately in fiction: anything by Ken Follett. Just finished Steinbeck's "East Of Eden" for the second time, and I'm about halfway through Sue Grafton's "P Is For Peril." Recent non-fiction:John Grisham's "The Innocent Man." Everybody who still believes in the death penalty should read this book.

You have a fine voice. I sang these songs 35 years ago (in tenor range), not nearly so well as you do. I'd love to hear these recorded by you in a studio. (9 minutes ago)

New sins, new religion
"Accumulating excessive wealth?" Does His Popishness define what is excessive? I mean, sitting in his gold trimmed pajamas, or crouching over his marble commode, does the old Hitler Jugend think that anyone richer than he is is sinful? Before he "pontificates" (I couldn't help myself) upon morally debatable activities, perhaps he should concentrate on ridding his church of morally identified sins like, oh, I don't know . . . PRONGING CHOIRBOYS! But I suppose then he'd have to stop. (4 hours ago)

The Bible, which apologists insist is perfect and without contradiction, is actually rife with contradictions. This series exposes a few of them.

Democracy Now: American Fascists Pt. 1
November 12, 2007, 06:06 PM
Chris Hedges's new book examines how Christian dominionists are seeking absolute power and a Christian state. According to Hedges, the movement bears a strong resemblance to the young fascist movements in Italy and Germany in the 1920s and '30s. Hedges is the former New York T...

Question:-- How did Christian philosophy influence our form of civil government? R.J. Rushdoony: One of the things most people don't understand about Christian Reconstruction is that first it is nothing new. It has been the historic position of the Christian church over the...

Hi Largo64 - Thank you for making the video about young marriages and historical practises in Islam. You make some fascinating insights. May Allah bless you. ~ Peace to you ~
gautamagaroo | March 11, 2008
Interesting fact about you tube when you search it.

"convert to Islam" video results 1 - 20 of about 5,040

"convert to Christianity" video results 1 - 20 of about 1,210

"convert to atheism" video results 1 - 20 of about 356

"convert to Hinduism" video results 1 - 20 of about 149

"convert to Buddhism" video results 1 - 20 of about 48

In the case of Hinduism and Buddhism, there is virtually no video promoting conversion. All the results are of Muslim or Christian testimony and propaganda.

In the case of atheism, there are fewer videos in comparison to Islam/Christian dogma.

Help change this.

Really like your videos
