Tested

Very disappointed in how tested handled the controversy around Rebecca Watson's speech, I don't care if people say mean things on the internet get over it. I'm not going to be supporting the myth busters or the other 2 co hosts. I would not have cared if you let Rebecca Watson speak on hosted her speech on your channel but it's obvious you care about ideology over your viewers freedom and that has damaged yourselves and Jamie and Adam's reputation in my eyes. Censorship is never acceptable; I hope your happy with your new community because it appears that you will having a smaller group to worry about gagging.  

Just want to express my displeasure with the way the Rebecca Watson thing has been handled. One of the biggest complaints about people like Watson is that they use any method at their disposal to shut down any dissenting opinions, and label everyone who disagrees with them as misogynists. So closing the comments section only validates peoples negative opinion of her, and now, your channel. I don't have a problem at all with you posting something with Rebecca Watson in it; I would have downvoted and moved on. But do you realise that when you claim that all the downvotes and negative comments are from some unnamed MRA channel, you are actively insulting your viewers who happen to disagree with what you posted? I've been subscribed to Tested for quite a while, and have particularly enjoyed material from Will and Norm. I can handle people I like posting things I disagree with. But I can't put up with my feedback being censored and being insulted and accused of not being a 'real' Tested viewer simply because I disagree with what was posted. So, after consideration, I have unsubscribed today, and it's unlikely I will be watching your content anymore. I'm not saying this to suggest that me and a few others unsubscribing will do your channel any harm. It is a successful channel, and will continue to be. I'm saying this because over the time I've been watching, I feel like I've gotten to know you a little and believe you to be truly decent people, and in the hope that you will be able to see that in assuming that anyone who disagrees with you has bad intentions, you have insulted people who like you and your channel and would have supported you regardless of any disagreements of opinion.

so i have an opposing opinion to your recent video with Rebecca Watson and i believe i made a coherent critisism in the comments. but repeatedly i saw you replying to people saying all the people who disagree where from an MRA youtube channel (one time you said reddit) and you never said what channel they came from. so i take it you really dont care what i have to say? you dont care that i've enjoyed your channel for over a year? you think because i have a contrary opinion that i'm not a "true" tested viewer? you only care if i agree? if you only care about my opinion if i agree then why dont you disable comments on all videos and just write down agreeing comments on a post-it-note? i find Rebecca to be very sexist and she seems to think of people as only male and only female, i'm transgender and would say there are far more than just male and female people. she makes sexist jokes that even i, who doesn't identify as male, find very belittling towards men. this is a very mixed signal you've sent. are you trying to push me away? i'm not going to unsub from this but it makes me question if i'm as big of a fan as i used to be. i think you guys mean well and want equality, but having somebody like rebecca watson on the show to talk about equality is the wrong way to do it. thats like having a member of ISIS on the show to talk about how slavery is bad.

I hope whoever runs the comments on your channel gets the boot, incredibly unprofessional and ignorant responses, brushing any negativity off as "trolling", please reevaluate your goals.

I'm disappointed in you. I thought this was a channel worth watching and worth keeping around. I was wrong.  I watched the video, i disliked it on the basis that it is outright pointless talk and that splinter groups like the neo-feminism are doing more harm to women around the world than 200 drunk men in 20 years. Promoting hate speech, separation of gender...that's not what old feminism is/was about. It was about equality. But it's not that which made me unsubscribe, something i've never done since the incipience of YouTube as a webpage. No, i unsubscribed because you lied to your loyal fanbase. You dared to lie and spit on our faces by invoking some make-believe bullshit channel move that supposedly invaded your shores and for that you banned and had hidden the comments that are against you as a channel not against her and a separatist. That's right, i can see those comments. All of them by following my feed. I'm utterly disgusted and disappointed. Banning free speech, manipulation, outright lies and controlling your people. That's the kind of stuff that a made despot does. I'd love to see what Adam and Jamie think of this if they were presented with how things truly happened. You present yourself as a channel of science and education, but this shows what you really are made of. It goes against all that i'm made of but i'll be sure to let everyone i know about this. I'll let them choose whether to unsubscribe or not, that, like your choice is their prerogative, but something like this, something so utterly vile and outright disgusting is not something i can let slide.

Really disappointed in you Tested, really disappointed. First you claim that a pro-MRA Youtube channel with 300k subs sent people to spread hate speech and dislike in this video when it was uploaded only 3 hours ago, making that claim seem very unlikely. Now you also started censoring the comments section. Free speech and criticizing things my ass. Such hypocrisy.  It saddens me to unsub to this channel. Been a big fan, until now.

Still Untitled is coming back next week. We've all been travelling a ton over the last few weeks, and weren't able to sneak away on Saturday mornings like we usually do to record Still Untitled. 

I see you've rebranded the channel as simply Adam's Tested. I can understand Jamie not wanted to participate, I just think it's a shame that he's cutting most ties with Adam now that Mythbusters is over. They had a really productive partnership.

No one who is reasonable is assuming gaming is a man's domain. The ones saying it are also complaining that bronies are invading female spaces. "...Particularly straight white men." I'm sensing some racism in this. So what there are naked women is some games? Mature doesn't mean no naked women. Classical art has many depictions of naked women. What she's advocating for seems to be more akin to sanitizing. "...Anita Sarkeesian." And more and more women are speaking up against what she's saying. Also, she is the worst critic I have ever seen. Zoe Quinn isn't much of a developer, but nothing stops her from learning java, python, CSS, or anything else. The police confirmed that the threat wasn't credible. People on all sides of this have received threats. At least you reported yours to the FBI. Actually, I agree with it, but remember, others will criticize your critiques. "Couldn't jump from the Hubble to the ISS." After playing KSP for some time, I'm inclined to believe you there. "...Lesbian teenager in the nineties." I doubt it would be fun, unless the developers are gods of entertainment. Videogames are way different a medium than film or television, and it's very difficult to make the mundane fun, hence the reason people didn't like "Gone Home." To be fair, a dating sim might work for this one. There is a game about being the worst surgeon and worst runner already, so worst bomb defuser might be a reasonable proposition. I like to think critically of what I play and watch, and that includes this video. I have dealt with people who uncritically love things, then claim I'm trying to ruin other people's days. That's why music video comment sections are especially horrible. In all fairness, Rebecca is tolerable when she isn't trying to make jokes or talk about feminism.

Unsubscribed after the Rebecca Watson video + censorship ... You guys ought to be ashamed of yourselves. 

Dear +Tested, I and evidently many others are very disappointed in how you have dealt with the Rebecca Watson video. You claim to be a logical sceptic channel yet when an idea is legitimately challenged you merely run and cry "hate speech" "Trolling" and the single worst of all "The MRAs sent you" (which you are still yet to provide a source for). I am sorry but if they were sent by an MRA (which is not a bad thing) then their arguments would be just as valid as if they came here of their own fruition. Your policy for this post disgusts me and I have since unsubscribed from your channel and will do so until I can see that you are willing to be open, allowing all to speak in a logical and reasonable way, even those who you disagree with.  I agree that the illogical trolling and hate speech should to an extent be moderated, but logical arguments should not be at any time. Do not put someone on your channel that endorses hate speech and calls men mangina's and then not expect rational thinkers not to be outraged. You jumped the shark here. So sad that something I've loved for years has turned toxic.

The positive vs negative air pressure video needs to be reexamined. The comments were disabled probably because there were a lot of flaws in their interpretation of their testing and too many people pointed that out. Adam, please check your people's work before letting them post it and give people inaccurate or incomplete conclusions. For instance, while the fan was drawing air out there was nice smooth air flow from the inlet to outlet, but obviously a lot of near static air around many components. When the fan was blowing air in, the fog was being blown all around the case, "diluting" the fog, giving a false impression. In my view, even if overall air flow is less you would be extracting more heat from the components because of the air movement by those components. That is the point, right?

Has this channel just turned into a series of shitty podcasts?

@Justin Dadonas: We use the big mics since Still Untitled and This Is Only a Test are primarily audio podcasts. We just post video versions them on YouTube as a bonus. The big mics sound much better than the small lavs we normally use, so they're not going anywhere for the podcasts.
