Réalisateur : Simon Olivier Fecteau Durée : 7'35 Pays : Canada Un technicien du câble est appelé pour réparer le téléviseur soi-disant défectueux dun vieil homme. Sur les lieux, il constate que lappareil fonctionne très bien, mais que cest le contenu qui pose problème : images de guerres, de famine, de maladie, de kidnapping denfants Bien malgré lui, le technicien est touché par la requête naïve du client et tente de le satisfaire par tous les moyens. Simon Olivier Fecteau débute à Radio-Canada, en 1999, avec le groupe Chickn Swell et lémission éponyme, laquelle remportera notamment le Gémeaux 2004 de la meilleure émission humoristique. Il réalise ensuite deux courts métrages : Les derniers jours et Le pouce vert. Il coréalisera le Bye Bye de Radio-Canada en 2006 et 2007. Cette même année, il coréalise avec Marc-André Lavoie son premier long métrage, Bluff. Il travaille actuellement au scénario de son prochain long métrage, ce qui ne la pas empêché de réaliser Le technicien.
