Christo, do you still use the Sterling Irons or did you go back to Hogan's clubs? I tried Sterling and was very surprised. Solid, consistent and straight. Hmmm

They are not in my bag right now but I might put them back in soon.

Hey Christo I highly recommend books such as unconscious putting and zen putting if you're looking to improve your putting:)

Thank you! I do need help.

Huge Hogan and Nicklaus fan too! Five Fundamentals is a bible for me like Harvey Penicks little red book! Check out my driver swing and give me some feedback! Keep up the sweet classic videos!

Just had a huge breakthrough watching your videos and hogan videos and then seeing my swing on video. My hands were waay too active and flippy at impact! Trying to hold that wrist position through impact and you HAVE to use your body to really turn through the ball. Can't wait to work on this at the range soon

Congrats! I'll be you smash it at the range, but don't get discouraged if it's feels a little different at first.

Hey! just bought your instructional video classic swing with the black belt. Started using it yesterday. It began really bad and slowly started to hit some balls straight and far. Getting more consistent with my hits. I have a long ways to go yet but you instantly helped my wedges. They are stopping on the green which helps my game. So here is my question. one thing I struggle to find good explanations on is how to hold the club in relation with the club head. I didn't see that laid out in the video and I feel like that is my missing piece. I'm playing with some setups but my swing isn't comfortable and consistent yet so I need direction to eliminate that thought process. My next question is feet setup based on where our trying to hit the ball. Should you be perpendicular with the ball in the center in this style of shot or is there other setups to consider?

Slow swings are great practice, but I don't like teaching from positions with the exception of the impact position. I think it's important to drill through impact and practice releasing the driver so that it is not flipping or twisting through impact, but rather it is square to the line.

Ok, I seem to have figured out the feet in relation to my grip issue. I’ve started to hit some really nice shots. The Iron shots I’m getting right about 75% of the time which is better than before. My drive has gone down big time to 5% lol. Unfortunately my old drive was causing me injuries so I gave it up. It was all arms. I like your martial arts approach to things as I used to compete in Judo. This brings me to my next request. When we learned a move and like to use our hands instead of our body weight and leverage, our sensei would give us drills to do. He would break the move down into 3 or 4 pieces. He would then make us do the first piece 100 times perfectly before we would move on to the next piece and the next piece. Then piece it all together or break it down into halves first. How would you break up the driver into these pieces? I feel like I might break my old habits If I had a drill I could practice in my house every day at slow speed. Regards,

Christo, Spieth needs to release left and more left, and even more left like McHatton told you. Love your stuff, just feel like my swing journey is so close to all you have said. I wish I could get into my heels, shankapotomous here! I truly wish I could actually speak with you, Christo. I help some of my coworkers with Hoganesque/left turning/releasing thoughts, have for years. I do tend to shank sometimes when I give myself over totally to the Hogan move (cup back/bow down) with a right leg drive to the left. I believe that the soft arms are also hard to achieve in 1/4, half, and 3/4 shots with a Hogan move...Any help? (My Dad and I love you dude, you are a super class act; humble, joyous, unselfish, a Hogan faithful, and fun to listen to and watch. I consider you a friend and fellow switter! I imagine that it was some kind of special treat to meet and learn from Gregg the Hat...been a fan of his since about 2002! Greg A

Thanks for the kind words, Greg. I get so many message across multiple platforms it's hard to keep up with them. Hence the tardy response! Hit 'em long, and hit 'em straight!

Christo...I watched your distance videos and have seen some others and I think you would be the perfect person to help me with the problem I have with my swing. I've videoed my practice swing and my swing hitting a ball...2 entirely different swings. I know you haven't seen my swings, would be glad to send you a video, but do you have any ideas how I can hit the ball with my practice swing? Thanks.

Christo... wow what a student of the game.  My whole golf career I've been eager to talk golf with someone who's my level and shares similar perspectives on the swing and game.   Well your videos are giving me a lot to reflect on.   I'm 43 and seriously thinking of reconstructing my swing.    So my first question is: can you play a fade still?  I love the idea of trapping the ball more and getting back to taking nice confident divots.   But, after a lifetime of playing a cut, that's all I "see" on the course.  Has you shot "vison" expanded as well?

Hello Christo I'm having a swing evolution too. Due to a neck injury I almost called it quits on golf but decided to change my swing instead. My journey started out by adopting Moe Norman's style, being a fellow Canadian, eh ;) Then I came across your videos and have further modified my swing to a more Hogan/Moe style. While my injury may prevent me from regaining my former ability, golf is enjoyable again. And to that I say "Thank-you" for your insights and video. If I ever get a video of my swing I'll try to send it along. Keep up the great work!

    Sounds great, Brad. Welcome aboard!

+myswingevolution I turned pro at 32 here in Australia with the same goal to teach golf. Took me 7 years to put a decent pro swing together because I went to a Jimmy Ballard PGA Coaching Summit in 2000. I have also seen Martin Ayres. Found him to be great as well. I see you did a bit of work with him. Anyway love what you have done. I have a golf program I wrote. Happy to send you a copy. Cheers mate.

Hi Christo. I must say you got a real powerful and compact swing thats been sculpted to a nice Hoganlike swing. Im from Sweden and got frustrated at my golf 12-15 years ago it just went downhill from my 8 hcp. Took a long break but found your videos 2013 and started to study them. Tried it out last year but didnt quite get it until about 1 week ago. This realy has helped my shotwrecking pulls and slices. Im hitting real solid irons and and much more power than i could ever imagine. I got a long way to go to perfect this but im taking it peace by peace and wont go back under any circumstances. Thx for this great channel Christo.
    myswingevolution
Thanks, Toni.  I'm glad it's helping.  I've got some great stuff coming up so I hope you'll keep watching!!!  :)

Hello Sir. I respect so much that you've unlocked Mr Hogan's swing. I'm a self taught player who realized right away I wanted to emulate the sexiest swing of all time,.I wanted to emulate Mr Hogan's swing just as you did. Although I haven't quite unlocked the understanding of Mr Hogan's swing as you have, you have been an inspiration to keep trying and stay greedy. If you have time, I would so appreciate any feed back of my swing. I've just noticed that your right shoulder at the top of the backswing does not rotate past the angle of the spine at address. If you could spare any advice, I would so appreciate it..

Please pretty please (please!) write a purchasable eBook or create some type of step by step resource page for those of us who'd love to follow your learning path and swing like this. Your videos are one of my "must see" subscriptions so keep up the excellent work. :)
