When you put a camera in front of me I turn into a monotone eulogy speaker. In last weeks video (wooden scoops), my wife joined me out in the shop to help me film and to really see what goes on out there when she hears me talking to "myself". I tried to assure people I really do have a personality when I'm not thinking about the camera. I amassed quite a bit of blooper/outtakes that show my sillier side.
So my question is, do you want to see the whacky bloopers for this weeks video, or do you want me to just stick to the projects? I think it's funny, but of course I have the maturity level of a 2 year old.
Hey, happy thanksgiving from Alaska. I just want to tell you that I really enjoy your show. Keep up the great work. I enjoyed your late night bowl turning gig. I could tell that the "turning police" were extreme on that one. I am not a lathe person but have been messing around with wood since I was a little tyke. Lots of different results from exploring the craft, but fun is the best.
hey Nick, Im making an urn for my mother out of purple heart, but playing with finishes found out it turns kinda brown, do you have any idea or technique to bring back the purple?
Hello nick ...
Although I do not speak a comma in your language (so I'm using the google translator), like many of his projects, I want to copy them and use them in my workshop (in Brazil), it will facilitate and improve my work. ..
You won an inscribed, and already cranked my alert notifications ...
Congratulations on your creativity, expect new projects ...
A big hug.
Marcos.
Hey Nick, I got a notification from Jay's site today and listened to the podcast for the first time, I really like watching/listening to all three of you guys, or more accurately two of you guys + your gal pal.....sorry to hear about the water heater, that really sucks! mine isn't broke yet ( fingers crossed/knock on wood ) but I've also been considering a tankless so if you happen to go that route maybe you could share your thoughts/opinion somehow/somewhere, I'd appreciate it. Additionally, if you do go tankless it will give space to store your old band saw when you get a new one or if you haven't told your wife yet, maybe a hiding place for the new one.
If it's just a few occasional items I think they would sell, at least I know I would check out what stuff you had from time to time and most likely pick up a few chachkies.
Fantastic vids Nick. I stumbled upon your channel researching the best way to layout my garage for a woodworking shop. Love your tool cabinet series, the table saw slide & garage door insulation vids. Love your personality, explanations, graphics & animations. Thanks so much for taking your time & posting these. Cheers
Hi +Nick Ferry
I really enjoy your channel! I am relativity new to woodworking, just posted my first in a series of videos for a router table build - https://youtu.be/jMmxAP02duk

thanks - doubt I'd make a recliner version as the typical metal frame does an ample job but I could see a bench, stool, or non-reclining chair with a stretched seat
