Hi John, Love your videos! Inspired me to get on the lathe at work, usually stick to the electrical side of things. I was wondering whether you were still doing the t shirts? I know you had them a while back.
Thank you
Matt
Hi. John, Enjoying the mixed videos. I know this is a tall order, but is it possible to start a playlist for your sunday night uploads? It would be much easier to then watch the whole series. Thanks for all the uploads, easy to understand and well produced, cheers Andy
Hi John, wonderful down to earth videos, entertaining and informative. I am contemplating a larger milling vice and I see you using what I think is one of Chinese manufacture would you recommend a particular model and supplier, thanks once again, keep up the good work

Hello, I came accross your video on looking after your boxford lathe. i have just recently aquired one, I have used metal lathes before but only basics. Do you have any videos on the full breakdown of the boxford lathe you have? I am interrested in what gears i need for what threads and a bit more indepth look. If your planing on making one, i have subscribed or can you point me to a video that may help. I must say thank you for the video on making the spindel for the polishing wheel. Thank you
John, It's good to see the grin back on your face at the start of the vids. I take as a sign of things are getting back to normal for you and Debs and Dad. All my best wishes to you and all, sunday evenings just wouldn't be the same. Keep it lit fella. Thankyou
Hi John,
Received my T shirt about a week ago. Thought the XL was going to be too large. Glad I didn't get the large!
Got the drill home in one piece. :)
Hi John, I think you should try and do GDSF one year. 2 years and it is the 50th. I am going to try and make it. 2 flights 3500 miles from Canada and about $3000 and then 200 miles from London in a car so don't tel me its to far. Should have a Land Rover Series 2 to make it more real. Done it. Daventry to Cornwall several times 400 miles in my old Greeny 2A and a 4203 Perkins. Now lives in Canada. That thing assaulted my ears even with ear defenders. Young and mad. Great fun.

Hi John, i've never done any threading using tap sets but I noticed that a few times you have used the milling machine and cordless to put an internal thread in a hole by switching it on and off then driving it in. given the torque/speed of the milling machine/cordless drill is there any danger it could strip the internal thread or is there a proper method to doing this? I assumed all threads had to be done by hand. apologies if it sounds a bit naive. Thanks and well wishes to you all
