Sootch I have a question on prepping what is your thoughts about food stoage like beans and rice in pvc tubes with caps like the 1 inch size to not take much room
Sootch, in your experience, what size battery lasts longer in a tactical flashlight -- using 1 of the 18650 size batteries or 2 of the CR123a batteries? Thanks.
Sootch, watch your videos biblically. I came up with an idea, unsure if you have done this in a video i have not seen yet. Use old medicine containers. works well with moisture, economical, and small (most times). i have used a lot of them for various things from a batteries, to fire start, to medical stuff, to weapons. What are you thoughts on this?
Your survival hacks videos about t-shirts along with a video one survival Chapstick uses saved my finger some serious infection by using the Chapstick to seal it and the shirt as a bandage. Keep on keeping on.
like your videos!!, sootch00 go to ebay and check out this rod&reel(Mini Aluminum Portable Pocket Pen Shape Fishing Rod Pole) I just picked one up and it is perfect for the bugout bag.
Love your videos! Have you ever considered making a video discussing who's a threat and who's a fellow prepper/patriot/minuteman.
I've always been concerned.. well one, if I ever actually have to bug out. And two, I wouldn't want preppers prepping against each other. I wouldn't want to consider another fellow American a threat (or have them take me as one). I've seen and enjoyed countless videos on youtube, however not many mention most of their viewers are probably on the same side once things really go wrong.
hi sootch. love your channel! i have a question. i'm from Australia and the gun laws here are very strict. what would you suggest to be good self defence options , that don't involve firearms? thanks in advance!
Sootch, having watched your videos over the past few years, i have come to respect your knowledge, the last two weeks in pensacola we have had tornados which being lucky passed my house, but we were out of power for a few days, having my survival pack for myself and my two grandbabies we were able to survive in the back yard, with water and food, and for them made it a game, without the kits, life would have been hard for a few days. many people did not have or were not ready for the surprise nature can give, thank you for your videos, and having this channel, we appreciate it.
Got a question for ya Sootch. Many folks recommend including small tea candles or birthday candles in their E-kits. I saw once that for fire starting, those trick birthday candles that can't be blown out are great for starting fires.
Wondering what you think, and if they'd also be good for misc ambient light outdoors, like some of the uses for the tea candles - since they'd be pretty darn windproof.
Idea for a video: I was watching your videos and thought of something, about two years ago I made a bugout bag and since then I have not looked in it and right now I don't remember what is in it. So I was thinking maybe you could do a video on how often to check a bug out bag you already have. The bag is in my car still and looking in it now I found a pretty good amount of supply's that would have came in handy over those 2 years.
Also of all the prepped/bug out bag videos there are on YouTube it seems they are all bug out bags the guy makes for himself. Do you have a bug out bag for your whole family or do you have one for each family member? Maybe another idea for a video. Anyways great channel.
