Rep Ed Royce I live in your district. You seem to think the deficit is a big problem. So of course you support closing loopholes in the tax code, ending oil subsidies, eliminating the Bush Tax cuts right? After all a lot of this goes back to W. Bush's tax cuts. When do we hear you speak about that?
Rep Royce if republicans are truly serious about reducing the deficit the debt then raising the debt ceiling should be the parties first priority, not an unpopular demolition of medicare. And I i am ashamed of republicans for using the threat of not raising the debt ceiling political leverage. If you want to reduce debt focus on the wars in the middle east where we spend millions every day and where our troops have been dying in scores for 8 years.
