Hey Travis, thanks for getting me started with web development. Your videos are always fun to watch when I am trying to learn new subjects. This is my favorite Dev channel on youtube and will be waiting patiently for a new video if that's in the cards for DevTips. Until then I will be enjoying your conversation (and awesome music) on Trav and Los. So, I flash my light and hope to see on youtube again.
Hello Travis! Just discovered your Channel today, really inspired - you are just simply adorable, bouncy, and you make me want to hold you down, and tickle you until you cry, but more importantly, you are very good at what you do. Thank you for teaching, and providing learning opportunities! May peace be with you.
Hi Travis ,Thank you very much for your youtube channel . i want to design (web Design , logo, etc..) , but i have problem with that (witch color to use , user interface and etc..) , please help me.
I am a huge huge huuuuuuuuge fan of your work Mr Travis, can you please do a video tutorial on PhotoSwipe library??! I want to achieve the same result as they do in their home page, Please Please Please! GO DEVTIPS!!
Codekit creates a local server, also just setting up a python local htttp server works to send things to your device. Also the browser device emulators go a long way.
Hey Travis! You are the currently my new favorite channel on youtube! Its amazing how easy HTML, CSS and jQuery has been since I met you. I wanted to know if you used CNAME or A RECORD for your website? I already have my jekyll blog ready at github and it would have not been possible without you!
How is it going Travis?! First of all, congrats for you progress with Google! I am convinced you will get through! (You rock man!) I was wondering if you could solve me a doubt I have! I am trying to use your "Development kit version 2", and I am trying to add the animate css library in SASS format (https://github.com/tgdev/animate-sass) into it, but it is not working at all... :-( Could you post an example or give some advise on how to make it work? Thanks a lot! ^_^
Hey, Travis! Sup? I'm getting into toying around with the 3D properties in CSS and I thought it might be something on which you would like to do a series. Maybe try building a website with some z-depth to it and showcase a few neat tricks with manipulation the canvas in 3 dimensions. Here's a link that's a good starting point: http://thewebrocks.com/demos/3D-css-tester/
I hope you're as interested in this as I am. Either way, thanks a bunch!
David
Hey Travis just want to let you know that you are doing an amazing job, you are helping and changing a lot of people's lives through this channel so keep up the good work and keep those videos coming, I want to sincerely thank you for the effort you put in to produce such high quality videos
I want to make a request for a tutorial on Grunt
And make another DevTips live video hangout on air as it is exciting to know other guys of the same profession from around the world, please send me an invite, i would love to join the next hangouts
hi..
I am new to web development love your channel. Very helpfull !!!. :)
I was was looking for a sass editor with autocomplete like if I write "hei" it should show a bunch of properties starting with "hei" like "height".
Can you sugest something..
I looked for along time for that. I just decided that was a trade-off to sit in the front of the industry. Your tools will always catch up, but I think the important thing is: get in front of the wave.
As a side-effect, my typing has improved. :)
Thank you, man. Your tutorials have really helped me understand Jekyll better.
If you don't mind me asking, what series are you planning on doing after the one you're doing now?
