On December 5th 2013 in the Newry Town Hall, talent from all over Ireland as far as the Philippines gathered to perform in a wonderful fundraiser in association with the Red Cross in aid of the Philippines disaster relief effort. Over £3,000 was raised by the event!

If you're looking for hard evidence for the biblical stories, the archaeologists have it - or more accurately, they don't have it.
This video features Anne (on the right), a real working archaeologist who explains what archaeologists do and how they do it and what they find...
And they find very little of significance to support the Bible stories.
King David existed, but he was only a two-bit chieftain, and the Exodus did not happen, and Joshua did not level the walls of Jericho.
As for early Christianity, it was far from being a community united in one belief and spread by love, as most Bible followers and Christians believe.
