Can you do physics problems? Like the ones in Saplinglearning and other online physics programs. If you guyst go over physics concepts like kinetic, potential, velocity etc it help a lot. First week in class I was lost... and became more lost as days and weeks went on. I dont understand the basics and so on. With your help you can help save me and others from failing. You saved me in trig and calculus. You can save me in physics I know it.

Sarah Jean Johnson 5 months agoI was referred to your channel when I was taking Calculus in high school. I am flabbergasted by how wonderfully you demonstrate techniques, but also the range of topics you cover! I am now in Calc III in my second semester of college, tutor a couple hours a week, and your videos are completely applicable. Youre my #1 recommendation for any one struggling in math, and I generally watch a few of your videos before an exam. Thanks so much for your passion for math, and your dedication to the students who need a simpler way to understand!

Samuel Bass 7 months agoI really like your videos btw I'm thinking to transferring to UT-Austin for there engineering program. anyways. Wanted to suggest to get your website more updated and with a better navigation system will be way better than searching in youtube videos or in ur playlist in youtube.com only .... I think u can customize to optimize more efficiently more views to ur website and making more videos views.

Kristina Fowler 7 months agoYour videos are great, I used to have a feeling that I could not understand higher mathematics but when I watch and listen to you work out problems, I find I do understand all you are saying. The luxury of brief education videos like yours is that the learning is self paced and therefore without the pressure of having to work problems in a classroom in a finite amount of time when being tested. When I listen to your voice and follow along I feel competent and then I find I can do the same problem you just showed in your video. Your work is empowering to so many people. I for one want to say Thanks!

conrado sanchez 8 months agohey patrick can you do a video on calculus for optimization??? if so heres the question A man is in a boat 2 miles from the nearest point on the coast. He is to go to a point Q, located 3 miles down the coast and 1 mile inland (see figure). He can row at 2 miles per hour and walk at 4 miles per hour. Toward what point on the coast should he row in order to reach point Q in the least time? rhoadess 8 months agoI believe String theory will require everything you can muster, mathematically. I have an undergrad BS degree in Applied Math, but have not mastered these things, so looking forward to this. You are going to go through a lot of sharpies and trees, I do hope you don't get brain damage from the fumes.

rhoadess 8 months agoNot sure what textbooks you are using, but when you get to Electrodynamics and Quantum Mechanics David J. Griffiths has done a fabulous job in his introduction books for undergrads. For Subatomic Physics we used Frauenfelder and Henley, I found it understandable. For classical dynamics we used Marion Thornton. A good book in General Relativity is Foster Nightingale, the graduate course used Schutz. You might also want to do some Tensor Calculus in your Math section, if you already haven't, try Synge and Schild. In Quantum mechanics we used Gasiorowicz but it wasn't very popular with the undergrad students. Not sure if you did any Complex Variables in your Math section but we used Mark J. Ablowitz's book, he was also my professor. Also for subatomic Physics abstract algebra comes into play.
