Hello J. I'm 27 and looking to make the commitment to become a CDL Class A driver... Ive done a bunch of research over the past few months and have narrowed things down to singing up with C.R. England as my first company, and driver training scool.. Ive watched (almost) all of your videos and have come to trust you and your opinions on the (wonderful) industry lol...What is your feelings on this company {CR England} and do you have any other suggestions that may help me avoid a driver crisis in my future year starting out in such a manner....Thanks in advance, Tony Z (27, PA)
J, this is Ti. Mo. and I enjoy the reality type talk of this Dry Bulk work and need to know about work available as mentioned in your video, I tried to click on contact me hyper button and did not compose a mail to inquire about work available .
hello i am a service member that is seprating and i am planning to driving long hual for my father do you have any advice for someone just starting out?
Ears open mouth closed and remember this your going to learn on the job the school you will go to will give you the minimum information just to get you into the truck. Good luck.
Joe, I think I remember you saying in one of your videos that you drove a tanker at one time. What are the pros and cons to tankers? It seems a lot of truckers like flatbeds. Schneider says their tankers average $72k per year starting out (I think .48 cpm...but have to check), which is 10k more a year then there other drivers. Does driving a tanker just suck? Are the routes boring? Is there a lot more get up and wait? What's the deal?
Yo Joe I just want to let you tomorrow i'm starting my orientation with Bison Transport here in Calgary, Canada.
I will be doing long haul between Canada and USA. And you my friend are a big part of it, along with trucker Josh, Dale Clay, trainerJames2013 and renegade trucker.
So once again thank for your helpful videos and if we meet somewhere I owe you lunch.
Thanks for the input mate. I live in Australia and Im about to get my truck licence. Your vid helped me make my mind up. I ll either love it or hate it. I ll know a year down the track. Cheers. Take care Joe.
Jay, are you still doing okay? Haven't seen a video in awhile. Hope the leg healing process at home isn't gettin' you down to much, buddy. Hang in there.
Thanks for taking the time to tell us how you think and feel about being on the road, driving, tips, tricks, and so much more! When I watch your videos I expect to see your honest views and I'm never disappointed. The positivity is great! I'm just starting my own journey and am trying to build confidence with my choice, not let boneheads break it down.
damn dude.....didn't the upslope ruin your steering or drive axle traction when it became ''back heavy''? share a little about how you overcame the challenge. I, for one, would like to hear YOUR stories as much as Joes. C'mon man, tell us about Donner Pass, tell us about Elk Mountain, tell us about Vail Pass. You just might save some lives on the road with your experience and knowledge.
