can you kill yourself and rise from the dead? or heal a blind man to see ? or something real simple like walk on water ? besides spewing lies what can you do to make others believe you have any kind of special powers or the real truth , none. There have been many men before you who have tried to take the Bible apart and YOU have added NOTHING that has not already been said which makes you a COMMON person - you can fool some of the people some of the time...........you are a fraud
Big Think, please stay out of politics. I enjoy your channel; but I didn't subscribe so that I could listen to Van Jones spew one-sided political rhetoric.
In this 5-part Big Think Mentor workshop (http://goo.gl/k2wL0n) Julia Galef, President of the Center for Applied Rationality, teaches how to better understand some of the most common cognitive biases and fallacies - and ultimately make better decisions.
You will learn how to think clearer about:
-- The Sunk Costs Fallacy
-- Rhetorical Fallacies
-- Explanation Freeze
-- The Planning Fallacy
-- Bayes' Rule

Big Think - I would love to hear Michio Kaku talk about time as it is one of the big questions that friends of mine and myself talk about a lot. So, if its possible would you be able to convince him to have a chat about 'What is time?'
Michio Kaku said that the multiverse has 11 dimensions because that is how much dimensions theoretically needed to fit all four forces of nature together, but our universe is 3 dimensional and the four forces of nature exists perfectly, anyone explain?
My question : Does the law of gravity has an influnce on human growth?
Example : If some humans were te be born on, let's say, a space station with no gravity, will they become different from us (taller, for example). If they would go to earth in their future, will their bodies endure the gravity?
I love this channel and there are always interesting speakers in the videos, but I wonder why there isn't better representation of women. Considering all the talk about getting girls into STEM fields, having strong role models in the sciences is really important for young girls. I'm sure there are awesome female thinkers willing to contribute and I can't wait to hear what they have to say.
The "hidden portals in Earth's magnetic field" refer to actual points in the field itself, generally referred to as "X-points," that intersect with the sun's magnetic field allowing radiation from the sun to penetrate the magnetosphere and reach earth uninterrupted. It has nothing to do with wormholes or time travel. Scientist are planning to send probes to study the phenomenon, but they are yet to understand their significance to science and technology.
If Think Big is geared towards Business minded information, entrepreneur start up, and corporate models and processes, then why are the scientific debates and religious debates on their channel. That's like claiming to be a school of science geared towards scientific studies, only to go to that school and see that is a school of arts. I don't mean to under-mind their objective, but just as religion should stay out of schools, philosophical debates should remain off this channel if they mean it to stay geared towards business.
if you are traveling faster than, or close to, the speed of light and then receive a tv-signal from the
direction that u came from..
how would your tv display the video-image?
do we need to remeasure light years? we used to think light could not be affected but we know now that gravity forces can slow down and change direction of light particles. do we need to change the formula for light years? or just recalculate specific areas???? an answer from mr kaku would be awsome thank you
So. Im trying to get hold of Lawrence. Just wanted to discuss a theory a had about 30yrs ago re: how to get something from nothing. I was laughed out of uni, but now the idea, that this sort of theory is possible, is becoming more acceptable.
It means a fundamental shift in our understanding of mass and gravity. But it explains the quantum paradoxes well. I would like a quantum physicist to explain why my idea may be wrong (happy to be wrong) or help me with the math. I have some understanding of quantum math but its very basic.
I may be crazy but from what I observe the theory fits all the criteria and explains everything. That is really everything! and its truly awesome.
