If you people think Elliot Rodgers went out to murder people simply because he couldn't get laid then you people are either stupid or just ignorant. On second thoughts, your more likely both. This guy obviously had mental health issues: Extreme depression, anxiety and he also had Asbergers syndrome. You should read his manifesto, its pretty long but if you want to get a look into this guys mind then read it, its just one big cry for help. From his manifesto its obvious Elliot had serious unresolved issues concerning his mother and fathers divorce, his bullying at school, his unrealistic high expectations of himself, his own ethnicity, his limited social skills, lack of proper understanding of his problems from his parents (especially his father and his fathers wife), his longing for friends, company, etc. Don't get me wrong, what this guy did was terrible but you have to understand the REAL reasons behind why he did what he did. On his videos he mentions so often how much he hates the world, the truth is Elliot hated himself more than he hated anyone else. Again this all stemmed from mental health issues. If he had got the help, the guy would've been alive today and could've went on, in time, to make friends, resolve past issues and had a girlfriend.

Gaining weight? He is skinny as seen in the videos. I think that from all those years of feeling alone his depression caused a mental breakdown and all his anger he had build up just bursted which is why I think he had explosive control disorder instead of Asbergers.

+Zack Barnett A lot of disorders can cause angry outburts and rage Zack. Someone can have Aspergers, but can have co-morbid disorders with it. Aspergers can even resemble other conditions such as Atypal or Schizoid PD. The Medication Ris he was given which is an antipsychotic treats the irritibility with Aspergers. It treats the short psychotic outbursts of schizophrenia and those with schizoid PD as as those PDs can make way for schizo type symptoms. Yes he was slim, but his body image was how he wanted to be like that. He didn't want to get fat or put on weight.

+lia la They are when they are children and teens Sky. It's so very important to nurture children so they do not develop psychological disorders. Many teens and young adults Lia suffer with Aspergers, Autism co-morbid with social anxiety and depression amongst other disorders that make them social outcasts. There would be many who can relate to how Elliot suffered. Unfortunately not too many have a great deal of empathy so they can walk in the shoes of those that suffer very deeply. No one is saying they can do what they want, but these are problems in society that need facing, so that they don't harm anyone else.
