Hello Travis! Just discovered your Channel today, really inspired - you are just simply adorable, bouncy, and you make me want to hold you down, and tickle you until you cry, but more importantly, you are very good at what you do. Thank you for teaching, and providing learning opportunities! May peace be with you.
Hi Travis ,Thank you very much for your youtube channel . i want to design (web Design , logo, etc..) , but i have problem with that (witch color to use , user interface and etc..) , please help me.
Hey Travis what frameworks / libraries / etc do you use these days? I've seen a few comments saying you don't use Bourbon anymore and one that said something like "...those were weird times in my life" lol did you move to Webflow full time?
Good Afternoon Travis,
I'm going back and using your tutorial "Coding a site in 12 hrs" (totally paraphrasing)
and I've run into an issue after completing hour 5.2. When I constrict my browser to 775px, my header do not snap to the top, and instead remains in its place. I've completed the video and the menu toggle works and all that. I did notice that when I added the drop down menu, it was not positioning itself how I was watching yours position itself.
I've added a few of my own elements (a secondary nav to toggle between my design work and visual art) to the page as we've progressed onwards, so perhaps I have done something with the positioning or indentation that has messed something up, but I am not sure why this is occurring. Flex box is working fine.
Any way you could help me out?
I should mention as well, that the effect of this is that my logo icon, and the menu are sandwiched in the space that was our header, which causes them to be side by side rather than the menu justifying itself on the right hand side of the screen, like I noticed was happening in the video.
Hello Travis, I'm a huge fan of your videos, I started knowing like 0 of everything, but know I feel more confident about my skills for designing a beautiful website :))). My friend and I test each other trying to do new stuff, but nothing compared to yours.
During a conversation we got to a "challenge" quite hard to do with my skills in JS or CSS, so the question is... Have you ever made a "smooth scrolling 1-page website"?... I don't mean that classic NAV click to DIV and smoothly going to a div after clicking on the navbar, I mean a 1-page website with for example 3*100% Height Divs(sections) and when you scroll down you will smoothly go to the next section, if you scroll up you go to the previous div, and if you scroll down being in the last div, you go to the first one... you think you can do "scroll" efects please?. I would really appeciate it. Thanks for your time and keep it up :D.
man i am working 18 hrs a day writing mostly html css and javascript in order to make the best 3d animations even if most people prefer flat design these days, somehow i find costumers who like my job i just watched your motivational vide and i liked it alot, thats what i wanted to say
Travis, I would be interested in an updated video on Jekyll regarding the new Jekyll Gem themes - maybe keeping the structure and css/js in the gem theme and the pages/includes outside (if that is possible)
Hey Travis I've been having problem setting up sass on my windows10 pc...I really can't have it working...it would be great if you could make quick tutorial on how to get it up and running ...btw your channel rocks keep it up man and thanks in advance :D
can anyone help me! lol Im trying to add a mp4 video to squarespace but so it plays on a iphone and android device and not just the desktop. Is there any videos to help someone like me who is not a coder...but an artist brain ...thanks ahead for anyone who can save me!

Hi Travis great tutorials and inspiration, i like your experimental approach, it gives a sense of joy in the making of things. Well since everybody asks for more, here it goes: Webpack, SMACS, SUIT and BEM, thanks again and keep up the great work!
oh i forgot something, a small series about the webdesign ecosystem, like tools and frameworks, since there are so many its easy to get lost and overhelmed, a mindmap describing it would rock!
Hey Travis, have you seen this? https://youtu.be/AIcHVLdmVSY?t=12m36s it blew my mind, never knew vanilla css had this kind of power! could you do an elite video on the topic? pretty please :)
