As an extension of our small computer shop, and after watching the episode that dealt with computer user groups, I decided that for my many novice computer users, you would be surprise how many are still out there that cant figure out a mouse, We would start a small computer user group in our town, it has been slow in building, but now after almost a full year of operation, We are getting monthly calls asking us when our next meetings are going to be! I refer my clients to these videos all the time, because the basics in computer operation are still valuable today! Thank you so much for posting these videos!
Thanks for the channel. Is there any chance you might consider re-uploading episodes with 720p quality? There's some where I'd like to read what's showing on their monitor, and I'm unable to unless I go to Archive.org and download the MPEG2 offered, which is less than ideal since they download at 250kbp/s there. Either way, thanks again for your work.
+The Computer Chronicles Thanks, it was an issue on my end. I was viewing videos via the HTML5 support, and not the Flash plugin, and for whatever reason the former only allows 360p/720p options. Now I've switched back to Flash, I can now get 240p/360p/480p - and the last is what I wanted.
Only 1,210 subscriptions? No, there are way more fans of The Computer Chronicles than that. Meh, just remember that I didn't watch this back then, but you are the reason I even found this relic to begin with. Thanks. Take this possibly unviewable ASCII Smiley face taken from an old DOS ASCII reference sheet that I found somewhere. ☺
