Always wondered why STS is unlike the Skyway me4s. VMWare owns Springsource; so why can't they be in a position to bring out a better IDE than STS, is my question. STS should have the same capabilities as me4s imho. $99/year for an IDE is not something I would like to pay(but willing to pay $30 to $50/year ). Maybe Roo and Wavemaker will marry soon and create a competition for me4s.

Thank you so much for posting these tutorials! But at the same time, I really hope that the Spring / Java community will put up more and most importantly, better learning materials and tutorials in the future. If you look at the Ruby on Rails community, with Railscast, Envy Labs, Peepcode etc... they have done a really good job to create a great ecosystem for learning the Rails framework. While in the Java / Spring community, many of the learning materials are not presented in the best way in terms of the learning experience, but rather a very dry demonstration of "what you should do". I mean, with the resources that VMWare / SpringSource have, you should expect them to make better screencasts than Railscast, right? Please don't take my words in a negative way but I just thing that great learning materials are essential to encourage people to learn the Spring framework. And again, thank you for posting these videos.
