Um assaltante com uma granada invadiu uma farmácia e fez uma mulher refém. A polícia invadiu a farmácia, e o bandido foi baleado. Foi mais uma manhã violenta na Tijuca. Na quinta-feira (24), em um tiroteio, uma mulher foi baleada na São Francisco Xavier. Nesta sexta-feira (25), houve um assalto com refém em uma farmácia da Rua Pereira Nunes. No início da tarde, a farmácia permanece fechada. Um carro da Polícia Militar está em frente ao local. Segundo testemunhas, o ladrão já estava na farmácia, quando os policiais chegaram. A dona da farmácia foi feita refém, e os funcionários conseguiram sair. O bandido estava com uma granada. Segundo a polícia, depois de uma hora de negociação, o bandido saiu da farmácia com a refém e andou alguns metros. Um atirador de elite da Polícia Militar estava no último andar do prédio, aproveitou o momento em que a refém desmaiou e fez um disparo de fuzil. O bandido morreu com um tiro na cabeça. A dona da farmácia foi levada para a o Hospital do Andaraí. Os funcionários foram para a delegacia prestar depoimento.
