Hi, I was wondering if you could make a tutorial on how to make the goggles of the helghast from killzone. I searched and asked many people and no one has helped me. I think many people would be happy if they found a tutorial of the helghast goggles.

Just curious, What do you all do for work or is (awesome) hack-a-day your job? Might be an interesting video to find out what you do or have done workwise.

Nice hack! I love it when someone turns those stupid, cutesy-pie decorations into something evil. The only better use for a gnome I've seen was a motion-activated belching gnome at Spencer. I do have a couple points of criticism, however. 1. A heat gun should have been used on the heat shrink tubing. Using a lighter is somewhat dangerous business, as the flame can melt or ignite the insulation on the wires as well as ignite the heat shrink tubing itself. 2. Soldering quality. A desoldering tool such as vacuum tool or solder braid should have been used to remove the LED from the yard light and to clean up the old solder. The new wires should have been inserted through the holes and soldered with fresh solder instead of ghetto-rigging it by pushing the wires into the old solder.

From the Team Hack-a-Day site: As you have probably noticed (and who hasnt?), the Hack-a-Day web site is currently down and has been for a few days. It seems that initially, DNS issues plagued the site and then they were DDoSd when the propagation completed. Now a pending Wordpress conversion is underway, which should be completed soon.

Anybody heard what's happened to hackaday site? Started getting DNS errors last weekend, looks like registration record updated 09/08/08--what's going on?

do you still go on mahalo if so why is it so small of a site very simple hard to get a hold of the comunnity i dont feel like i part of there team i thought i read or heard that what it all about a team of family and friend make the internet usefull i not sure why but this site scarres me i tell you more later I got to get packing
