I am looking for an old B monster movie about a geologist who was murdered at a seedy hotel in the swamp. There is a map that shows where an oil field is. The geologist's associate comes to join him. Woman who runs the hotel pretends to be the first geologist's wife and all go out into the swamp. I don't remember the end of the movie and can't remember the name of the movie. It's making me crazy. Does anyone know this movie?

Appreciate seeing "The Adventures of Robin Hood" again, however episodes are out of sequence. CBS' fault. They showed episodes out of order. Characters die and come back; are written out and re-appear; two-part stories shown backwards. IMDB follows CBS' play dates, not the correct ITV dates. PizzaFlix and all, I'm in desperate need of help finding the name of a TV show I used to watch here on Youtube along the lines of what you have on your channel. I don't know the name of the show, the actress, her character's name, or the name of the Youtube channel, but I would know it once I see it. It was a black and white police/crime drama, probably from the 40s-50s. It was centered around a lead female protagonist that was a detective or even a PI, but more likely a detective. She operated alone, at least when in the field, I think undercover at times. Whoever the actress was she was gorgeous, and was either black haired or brunette and probably had brown eyes if it was in color. It's been almost a couple years since I've seen it, but I think one of the early episodes involved her going undercover to bust a drug scheme but I could be wrong. I know I don't have much to go on and this is a pretty long stretch but I'll take any help I can get. I've been searching for hours. On the plus side I found the show Honey West to watch during my search.
