Divorced father of a wonderful daughter. I am always looking for meaning in the world and have found it in my career..caring for others. My taste in movies, music, poetry and literature runs to the romantic. Unattatched, I am always on the lookout for true love. My humor runs to the ironic and I have to be careful to avoid sarcasm. Interests and Hobbies: History: I like to visit historic sites and do CW and Rev War reenacting, living history events. Computers: I have built a killer rig and love to play games on it. Airplanes..If it flys, I'm interested. Angels. Travel, I'm from California, live in New Hampshire, have been to Europe several times. Music: I Pluck the harp for mental health. Singing: Have done most of the great oratorios, and a few operas.
Movies and Shows: TV: CSI (Las Vegas) Star trek (Most all of the versions) History channel, Science channel. Movies: Sense and Sensibility, Emma, Shawshank Redemption, Anything with Meg Ryan in it. King Kong (the Naomi Watts version) Somewhere in Time. Most all science fiction.
Music: Former Punk-New Wave type now seeks peace. I love the harp and play it (but not very well) I love romantic music..sad, slow songs, and have found it in Celtic music, Anime themes, Chopin, Puccini and a multitude of other forms.
Books: I like the novels of Thomas Hardy and the Bronte sisters. The poetry of Keats. Non fiction on the subject of history. And, dare I confess? Those ridiculous torn-bodice novels!
