Hey CP... Don't forget to put your new channel on your preferred channels list along with the others you have already designated like Urban Prepper and the Prepared Mind. I don't see it on there yet.
one thing I have not been able to figure out, is the gas masks that we have here in Canada. I have a Czech m10m gas mask and have not been able to find a compatible canteen or figure out the drinking hose canteen adapter, on how it adapts. Any experience with this mask?? I would love to find an adapter to attach my gas mask hose adapter to my condor hydration bladder hose. Replacement filters are also almost impossible to find but I have one source I've found here in B.C.
CP I love you buddy I do, But I think your going to get people killed.
I have a question for you, a question that no other Prepper on YouTube can answer for me or are just not willing to answer. I have been prepping for years now and there has always been this fear that something was wrong. I couldn't place it but I think I have figured it out.
I am told to buy all these supplies and food and water. Months and months worth even up to a year of supplies.
The question is, does this only apply to the rich folks who own their own homes?
After all, if you rent then no matter what happens in this world the landlord will be knocking on the door on the 1st and if you don't have the rent you are out the door siting on the side walk with a years worth of food and water. It seems to me YouTube preppers are actually going to harm the majority of the population by telling them to stock all this stuff in homes that most don't even own. Knowing full well that at the end of the month they will be out the door. You should all make it very clear that stock piling only applies only if you own the property, because the landlord won't care what's happening in the world, he will care about what's happening on his property and rent is due on the first or your out. I don't think I need to get into what will happen if you decide to fortifiy someone else's home and damage it by boarding up windows or tearing up his back yard to plant a garden.
Unless of course you guys condone taking other people's property maybe even killing the landlord when he comes to claim what is rightfully his or evict the person who is now intruding on the property.
Let's face it for most the INCH bag is the only way to plan for any survival but I know you will pander to the wealthy homeowners while still living in a world of fantasy. You are actually hurting renters when you tell them to waste money on sticking up for the long haul in a home that they will be evicted from in a month. Let's see how sensible you really are.

Hope you don't mind me butting in here, I agree with you on the whole "Mountian" of Beans, Band-aids, and Bullets thing. What will most Preppers do if it hits the fan so bad that they HAVE To Bug-out, Rent a Simi truck and trailer? I have answered this to my friends that tell me I'm not a Prepper because I don't have all that Stuff by telling them that the Mountain Man and the Planes Indians did fine with a handful of Skills and Gear.
As Preppers we need to learn to hunt and fish, find shelter and water and quite worrying about all the stuff, mountains of stuff. We don't need 40 acres to farm on we just need the skills and mindset. Before humans became farmers we ate meat and drank water, and when it hits the fan, we will again.
PS CP, you ROCK, Love your thoughts on SHTF matters
I got a challenge for you, related to the bug-out.
Fishing. Not sport fishing, but net fishing. The importance of learning how to make and maintain nets; especially for the community minded prepper. Hunting is a skill which can't be learned over night, and gun laws being what they are, blah de blah de blargh. Being able to net fish is an optimal meat gathering method for growing communities AND women and children can get involved in it.
Hell, beachcombers often find lost nets, just need some repair work and ready to go.
The only question is which net fits the bill... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fishing_net#Types
hey could you start posting some different videos or how to guides, that are more serious in other natures and aspects than what i see you cover on your youtube and website? what you cover is narrow scope compared to what you could be covering. i would like to see very clear in clarity to understand, guides both textual and video (must be good videos that are educationally above excellent with closeups and labels for everything). i want to learn how to build my own wind electrical generator along with learning electricity from basic to advanced to above advanced innovative, more serious things. i'm also thinking about a special electrical generator using an anode and cathode on ocean water on a beach, perhaps using a grounding rod. i want to learn how to both build a wind generator from parts as well as from scratch (building your own parts from chemicals and recycled chemicals). i am interested if you could possible create a wiki on this and i would like to collaborate with you and others on it.
Hey CP, thanks for the videos - something you might want to think about (would also be curious to know what you think) -
In a SHTF scenario - carrying a bow (if guns illegal) or long arm over the shoulder could make you a stealth (surprise attack) target. This might be a good alternative backpack and is likely to make you less of a consideration for Govt (stand in) forces. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/like/351570358925?lpid=107&chn=ps
Even a cammo material case would make you less "tactical" looking and there is heaps of space wither side. Although a guitar might be of interest, less likely to be an aggressive target and with a low side opening a weapon (loaded) could be extracted while the case is still on the back. Not necessarily quick drawn but less obvious.
Just a curious post.
Keep up the good work.
Hey CP, got a question that's just burning me up and nobody seems to want to address it or can't.
What does one do if they are a renter? It would be somewhat pointless to stockpile a year supply of food and water and supplies if you don't own your own home. Rent will be due on the first and if there is a collapse of any kind the landlord will still want compensation for a person living in thier property. I think that most of the YouTube preppers are just rich boys who own their own homes and are endangering people by telling them to stockpile when most people will find themselves and thier supplies on the sidewalk come the end of the month. Unless they are stockpiling rent money with food and water and hopefully the landlords cousin doesn't need a place to live. Nobody will help me with this, I have been trying to think of what to do and the only thing I can come up with is I will have no choice but to leave and go forage and hunt. Not everyone has another place to go,most don't.
Not CP, but my thoughts are that if SHTF is a rapid overnight event, law enforcement will have greater priorities than to enforce evictions. If your home is adequate for your immediate survival needs I'd just treat it like you own it if SHTF. If SHTF is a slow circling the drain event, then as long as you have a couple months rent you won't be the first to get evicted, and by then you should be able to point to the TV and convince your landlord that there's nobody to rent the house when you're out, and vacant properties get looted and gutted for the copper in the walls quite promptly so it is better to let you stay until it blows over. Home owners have mortgages that will get foreclosed if not paid as well so owning a home isn't a solution to that problem either. The difference between renting and owning is often just credit score, not necessarily wealthy.
Hi, great channel. If or when the grid goes down, there are some 440 nuclear power stations plus cooling ponds (full of hot rods) in the northern hemisphere. These will all go into melt down, can we prepare for this? Any thoughts? Smoke'm if you got'em?
Hey Canadian Prepper, I have a question about bug out/ get home bags. I have medical experience and training. Most people recommend some kind of first aid kit in any kind of bag. I have a separate bag(s) for medical, and still cover the minimums for first aid in the get home bag. Should I stick with a separate med bag that is built for the extent of my medical ability or should I beef up the first aid in my general bags, and scale down on the separate bag in order to save space?
I also have a medical background & Medical kits and supplies. I said every family member should have a bag and every bag should have an age appropriate medical kit. Then my wife said she had her bag & ask who was going to carry the 2 &5 yr. old's & their bags. I told her to figure it out---My medical bag was heaver than my bug out bag & besides that I had two & a half totes of medical supplies.
She said she would get her mother to help!! OOH NO~~ my Brain, then my Mouth/////
We ended up with her & the children BOB's in her car, an extra emergency stashed at the DayCare for who ever picked up the children, and my BOB and road-medical -bag in my Truck. The children got a red Ziploc bag with clean wipes, ointment, & band-aides for clean, treat, & cover. Shooters Must Have a BlowOutKit on them at all times.
I am new to this; the actually prepping myself to be ready for when S.H.T.F.; I am thinking that the best option for myself is BUG-OUT as I don't own my own home to set it up for a BUG-IN. I have also thought that a Bow & Arrow may be a better choice of weapon ..... to have in a BUG-OUT situation; for both adversary & hunting for food. You won't run out of ammo, you can always.trace down your arrows ; and on your prepping your always cache additional arrows; I know your saying that you can do that with bullets.....But there are are several other reasons there a couple other reasons the Bow & and Arrow will NO PUN INTENDED --- TRUMP a firearm. But here is my main question, regardless of hunting tool --- WHAT IS THE BEST SKINNING KNIFE SET OUT THERE TO CLEAN YOUR KILL ???
Hey, just letting you know I have been unsubscribed from your channel again. I haven't seen your videos come up for a few weeks, so I checked, and sure enough I am unsubscribed. This is a recurring problem. Cheers.
Shalom canadian prepper! I have a question, as a prepper can you make a video on unarmed combat. On one of your videos you said that boxing is the most effective art to fight multiple people, can you make a video or tell me why boxing would be more effective that other arts, thanks and shalom!
Great channel. Thanks so much for taking the time to research before doing a video and then doing such a great job doing the video in excellence (the production quality and video/image assets you use are really top notch). I have a start up prepper channel and I'm really challenged to step my game up after watching your videos.
Thanks again for really bringing excellence to this community!
Just watched a Japanology video about earthquake preparedness and the challenges they face in keeping their public aware of this constant problem. Here...

I like the Tee-shirt ideas, I did some digital design concept art for a surreal magazine 10 years ago, we used Cafe'press to print them. Decent quality, fairly low cost. I was thinking you could use this, as a tee-shirt phrase... "I'll get back up, when the grid goes... down." Feel free free to use it, if not, I might get some bumper stickers printed with that. Take care brother!
