IT IS 100% ORIGINAL AND 100% LEGAL.
I BELIEVE THE MOST PRESSING ISSUE THAT YOU-TUBE FACES IS "COPYRIGHT LAW VIOLATIONS."

MY OPINION IS BACKED UP BY THE 1.6 BILLION DOLLAR LAWSUIT FILED BY VIACOM AGAINST YOU-TUBE / GOOGLE. THE LAWSUIT IS "NOT" FRIVILOUS. IT HAS MERIT.

PLEASE HELP YOU-TUBE REMAIN A COMERCIALLY VIABLE ENTITY BY OBEYING THE YOU-TUBE UPLOAD RULES. WHEN ANYBODY UPLOADS COPYRIGHT VIOLATION MATERIAL, THEY ARE LITERALLY BITING THE VERY HAND THAT FEEDS THEM.

RULE #2

THE PRACTICE OF TRADING A SUBSCRIPTION
FOR A SUBSCRIPTION = LAME / NOT COOL.

The problem with the practice of trading Subscriptions for Subscriptions, is that there is literally NO INTEGRITY in the practice.
People who SUB for SUB, get relatively INSTANT GRATIFICATION. They get their
"PRECIOUS LITTLE SUBSCRIPTION NUMBER INCREASE" and then, 95% of the time,
they are pretty much "DONE" with the other user. Trading SUB for SUB literally "PERVERTS" the essesnce of YOU-TUBE.
It abuses the "NATURAL PROCESS" and creates the "FALSE IMAGE" of "POPULARITY" as it relates to a truly "QUALITY YT CHANNEL"

A metaphor for "Trading Subs" could be: Two users saying to each other, "I'LL GIVE YOU A PENNY IF YOU GIVE ME A PENNY BACK",
and then walking away from their "DEAL" believing that a worthwhile financial transaction has taken place. :~D
NOTHING could be further from the truth.
Trading Sub for Sub is simply Adults playing a CHILDS GAME
of VIRTUAL PATTYCAKE.

Another metaphor for the practice of SUB for SUB, could be:
Imagine if EVERYONE was running in an election for a government office, and in order to get someone to "VOTE" for them,
They simply "PROMISED" to "VOTE" for the other person in return.

Do you see how "NOTHING" would even ever "REALLY" get accomplished?

On it's BEST DAY, The practice of
"SUB for SUB" is a nothing more than a "PONZY PYRAMID SCHEME"

Not only is it completely "INEFFECTIVE" in the long term.
But it borders on "CHEATING" and it fits the definition of the word "PANDERING"
Which is a socialy unethical.

One of the interesting aspects to users who "DEFEND" and "ADVOCATE" the practice of
trading SUB for SUB, is how they will inevitably recite that "IT IS A SHOW OF RESPECT" and that it is a "GOOD FAITH GESTURE"
They will espouse that it "BENEFITS THE YOU-TUBE COMMUNITY" as a whole.

Again, NOTHING could be further from the truth.

"SUB FOR SUB" Literally creates an overall environment that puts "PHSEUDO POPULARITY" at the "FOREFRONT" of what these VERY SAME advocates "CLAIM" that YOU-TUBE is NOT all about. :~D

If what they say is true, and if YOU-TUBE is really all about "HONOR AND RESPECT OF COMMUNITY", then how in the world
could one user "PANDERING / BLOWING VIRTUAL SMOKE UP SOMEONE ELSES VIRTUAL ASS" just to "FEED THEIR OWN QUEST FOR VIRTUAL POPULARITY / VIRTUAL POWER" contribute to an "HONORABLE VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT" of Fellowship and Caring?

Their defense literally collapes under it's own weight.

IN CONCLUSION:

What I believe that YOU-TUBE is ALL ABOUT for 99% of the people who use it, is simply "EGO"

Who can deny that when ANYBODY uploads "THEIR OWN ORIGINAL VIDEO" onto virtualy ANY PUBLIC VIDEO SHARING WEBSITE,
and makes the video "PUBLIC, NOT PRIVATE"
and allows "ALL COMMENTS and RATINGS" that they are motivated and interested in the concept that other people will "SEE / NOTICE THEIR WORK" and think favorably about it.

I come from the school of thought that "RESPECTS MANKINDS EGO"

I will admit that EGO has it's downside, and has caused MANY PROBLEMS, but, Conversely, NO ONE can logically deny that EGO is by the exact same amount, if not even MORE-SO, directly responsible for MANY if not ALL of the GREATEST ACOMPLISHMENTS in the HISTORY of Mankind.
