(part 1) At 17:53 on 3/13/2013, I achieved the perfect roast, which lead to the perfect cup being consumed at about 18:03 on the same day. It was a Costa Rican, with a medium to strong bouquet, light acidity, a flowery aroma, strong notes of both citrus and brown sugar. Oh, Yeah, Thanks! for recommending the book "the perfect cup" I am almost done with it, and it certainly has improved my roasting process.

(part 2) (in other news...you were right, I didn't go into the second crack at all on my Lindy popper video) Hopefully, in the coming days my Bedouin roaster will show up in the mail, I have never had anything sent directly from the middle east before. So, in all reality I have no idea when that will actually show up. The Bedouin roaster *should* facilitate me making smaller roasts. I have a trucker buddy that was telling me about the trailers he pulls from the rail yard to the Cafe Imports company in Minneapolis, he was telling me that it is quite the experience down there, and that those trailers with the coffee beans in them are some of the heaviest trailers on the road. Thanks! for getting me into coffee roasting. I will have to get another order in with you soon, once I make up my mind on which beans I like the most. Thanks for all the information you are putting out about roasting coffee and what not.

Just finished reading "Going Home" by A. American. The character Morgan reminds me so much of you that I'm thinking you are the one that wrote the book. Did you? If so, great read! If not, perhaps you should read and do a review.

I just started watching your videos, well done. I like the humor, you remind me of some of my good friends of the past. I'm in my mid 40s now, and many of those "Army" and "College" friends I don't see or hear from that often anymore. I like watching these videos and also WranglerStar for the reason, I have a family (4 kids) and live on a small farm, so we do are own thing,, its nice to know someone out there thinks (values/principals) like us. Just watched your DIY Pulk video. I could never thank you enough. I thought about doing something like this for some time now, and using one of the cheap sleds like you did, but I wasn't sure how I was going to make the poles. You saved me a lot of time with yours, and so I wanted to say thanks for a job well done. I liked the mounts and the re-enforcements. Gave me an idea for an addition of a series of tie down points using eye bolts and washers with some elastic cordand a small tarp. The eye bolts would also work well for adding additional gear to what was already lashed down, with the addition of a few bungee cords. GREAT PROJECT

Just cracked the first jar of our YP pickles, my girls loved them. Both helped when we canned them. My 12yo is starting to really get why i do what i do. She is learning the health benefits to Home grown Home made and Home cooked. Both daughters are excited to start seeds next month and get a few more chickens to add to the flock. These things bring me great happiness and i thank you for the inspiration. I know when to give credit where credit is due and i think we all need a little poke or push now and then and you my friend are good at that.

I appreciated your "Yankeeprepper Exposed" Part-1 video. Would like the link to Part-2. You drew me in and then it was over before it was over. What a let-down. Lol. I look forward to more of your videos. I love to hear people speak the truth without fear of man. Also wanted to say that I LOVED your clip on making maple syrup. I only hope that some day that I can be "cool" enough to be considered a prepper, sure I am middle aged (42), over weight ( 6'7" 340lbs) , and I have three kids, two boys and a newborn girl ages,(12,10,and 4months), by the grace of God a wife that I love very dearly in a typical cracker jack box house in the berbs, I have watched most of your vid's and agree with most of what you say. I often ask myself happened to America?, This last vid hit the nail on the head, I too feel in exile,,I feel I should have been born at least a 100 years ago, I hope you keep the vids comming even though I may not always see eye to eye on some of the topics, but you do a good job.

In some of your videos you state that you don't know why people watch your videos. You may not think so, but you have been "gifted." Remember that if you have been called to do a thing, it may not be what you are comfortable with, but it is your calling. All Christians are familiar with the many instances in the Old and New Testaments. Not comparing you with Moses or people of that ilk. But people everyday are called to do things that they are not comfortable with, yet somehow they do those things well. We are all very blessed -- if we choose to recognize and accept it.

You got me hooked on the perfection kerosene heater...just refurbished my first one....now I want more! Thanks for the pointers! It's the perfect amount of heat to defrost my sandpoint well in the winter at my cabin......nice to have water when your off the grid

Even though it is the day after, Merry Christmas there Yankeeprepper. Just got to watch your video on the alcohol stove. Really liked your design and tricks of the trade so to speak. I built one from one of the monster drink cans about a year ago, and it works great like yours, even though a bit different. I've never seen one of the pot stands like yours though, and can't wait to get out the tools and wire and make one. Thanks for all your great videos, and keep up the great work

Thanks for your kind comment on my channel. I have been subbed to yours for a couple of years. We take a stand for Christ in our own ways. I have been so blessed to be able to share the orchard management expertise God has allowed me to acquire. Our orchard has become a sort of virtual global orchard and I have had the enormous joy of hearing from folks around the world that they have been inspired to plant fruit trees through my videos. The highest thanks I could ask for. Stay strong brother, although the days are growing darker under God it is possible to make a difference.

Thanks, I just cant stand the way this country is turning out and I feel like there is no real hope for changing it, with the way people are these days anyway. All I can do is say what I believe, not care what the brainwashed morons in this welfare society think and teach my children why their way of thinking is wrong. The Revolution'' In the movie Terminator, Battlestar galactica, and countless others the machines become self aware. When that happens all hell brakes loose. I dont want hell to brake loose but I do dream of the day when people will become self aware. Think you once again for trying to wake us up. I hope with every video you put out, one more person wakes up and looks in the mirror for their own truths. God gave us a mind and the freedom to choose what to believe. Think you for calling us to use that mind and make that choice.

Yankee I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for turning me onto prepping it really saved my family during this horrible storm Sandy. Here are a few lessons i learned from going through this What i learned from Sandy is, stock pile more fuel less bullets, have a few kerosene heaters on hand with large supply of kerosene, and if you dont have natural gas have a propane camping stove. I had all these things so im not so impacted and my family is relatively comfortable but I only wish i had much more of it so i could help people out more. I will be on a stockpiling rampage when things settle down God bless you yankee

Holy chicken shit! I just watched your 10 neccessities to prep vid and heard you mention natgeo and alexjones. I checked both of them out. The natgeo shows are unbelievable. The mindset of these people is hard to fathom. They either are complete violence advocating phycos or have what I call the naive "no one will hurt me when they see all my food" hippy mentallity. Not seeming to realize the they don't have the volume required to feed everyone. I have been enjoying your channel for it's logical stance towards either direction. Your survival triangle for example. I thank you for not shutting down and hope you continue to put out episodes.

You are not the only one lately blowing some steam off at these idiots. Wranglerstar has a similar chanal and he just did a video very similar to yours. Most watchers are good people and don't say anything, but the few bad ones spout off the most.

Hello Mr. Elitist, I was watching your video about the cozy over your cup which I really enjoyed by the way. And the fact that you involve your children makes it even more special. My question or comment is on the video you and your daughter used dehydrated soup mix. And I know you love to cook but I cant find any of your video's showing how you put it together. I'm just starting to put some of these idea's to use and I have learned a lot just by watching your videos. Dear sir, I am not a prepper, I do qualify for one, since I am a warrior, I am a chef, and a spiritual person, I can run, I am optimistic, I dont promote fear or make money from it, and all the other points you mentioned I do qualify, but I am not a prepper, even if I am preppared. I would however like to stay suscribed to your channel if you dont mind, i think you have great info and some great points of view, I dont agree with everything you say, I dissagree with other things, but I like and respect preppers and would appreciate to remain a suscriber to your channel. I heard your angry protest about non preppers pretending to be one, and I am not one, I am a warrior and have just started my channel but would consider it an honor to remain suscribed to you even if I am not a prepper,on the other hand you dont want another non prepper suscribed to you I will unsuscribe as you requested in your video. Yankee, I just wanted to say thank you for your efforts. I have been lucky and grown up in the rural woods of Vermont so a lot of the prepping lifestyle is just a reminder for me. I have learned a lot and the biggest reward that people need to take from being self sufficient is the higher quality of life and security they can provide their family. Most people just don't understand how much more "wholesome" it is for the mind/body. Thanks again

I love watching your channel. I have learned a lot from you and I always look forward to seeing your new videos. I was watching another preppers channel and he recommended a channel that he subs to and this other channel I now sub too also because he has great info too. I was wondering if you sub to any channels that you think are full of good info and if so who they are. You have great info and I wonder who you get info from too. Also this is on a different subject, but I love your German Shepherd. I know there are different breeds of Shepherds- would you happen to know the breed of your. I love the short haired shepherds. Keep up the great work!

YP- I don't fit into any of your qualifications. I was hit head-on and am now handicapped. I am not fat, stupid or lazy. I prep because I can. Had one guy tell me I will die in WROL-so be it. I have 4 adult children that can cart my preps out when I am dead. I watch your vids because you are down to earth, a man dedicated to his family, and the truths are my way of living. One more thing, my skill. I can make a meal out of anything. Poverty teaches you that. God bless.

Yankee, I did a stupid thing today. I walked from my pool to my shop to return a pool vacuum head that lives there. I knocked over a ceramic lamp and it shattered on the floor, sending a nice jagged chunk of ceramic into my foot. Nice 3/4" long and 'to the bone' gash in my foot. And I was wearing FLIP FLOPS! About my second thought was, "Yankee Prepper is right!" ;) Keep your chin up, pal. You're doing good work. Our redemption draws nigh. :)
