Japan is the source of these ongoing issues in Asia:

The aftermath of the Russo-Japanese War (started by Japanese imperialists) strongly provoked the Russian Revolution and other regrettable crises. The Japanese kamikaze practically INSPIRED the terrorists on suicidal attacking with planes (particularly the events of 9/11). It would have been much harder for the Russians to convert mainland China into a communist nation. China would have stayed as a non-communist republic but Japan's aggressive greed basically instigated WWII and the Cold War in Asia, eventually weakened the original Chinese govt. (ROC), which caused the Chinese Civil War and Korean War. It is mainly Japan's arrogant stupidity that caused this devastating turmoil against peace, unity, and stability in the world.

Red China, North Korea, and North Vietnam (excluding South Korea, South Vietnamese and Taiwan) should actually thank Imperial Japan's instigation for their communist existence.

I am strongly against Japan's symbolic and suspicious imperial monarchy.

The current 'emperor' of Japan is a good dickhead, but Japan does not need it anymore. Japan is supposed to become a peace-loving democratic republic after its defeat in WWII, so it should get rid of its so -called imperial or constitutional monarchy. This is no longer the age of symbolic emperor or expansionism. The Japanese emperor fundamentally shows why Japan still has suspicious desires to become an empire again.

Article Nine can easily be renounced by the Japanese govt. if it wants to. The Imperial family's symbolic status of Japan has not been dissolved yet, and they continue to deny several war crimes. This is not the Japan I want to see. I want to see Japan establishing a peaceful democratic-republic, by first changing its infamous flag and the national anthem, etc..

The Mongol invasions of Japan were a failure. The Chinese and the Koreans were forced to take part in the invasion.

However, the Mongol invasions of Japan (1274 & 1281) were nearly nothing compared to the Japanese invasions of Korea a.k.a. Imjin War (1592-1598). "Brutal Japanese invaders committed countless atrocities and slaughtered around 1 to 3 million people, mostly civilians. The Japanese also burned palaces, public buildings, temples, and private homes. A large number of treasures and technologies in Korea were either stolen or destroyed. Many technicians, artisans, architects, and scholars, etc. were kidnapped to Japan. Corruption, disorder, and famine dramatically increased during and after the war. Although the Chinese (Ming) and the Koreans (Choson) were victorious, Korea was left devastated and severely traumatized over the next 300 years in misery."

"The Imjin War had left harsh scars on Korea; weakened the Ming dynasty, eventually provoked Manchu takeover of China, and Korea became a tributary state. After this turmoil, Korean rulers afraid that their weak and damaged country would get invaded again, closed the country to all foreigners for almost 200 years. Korea was called the "Hermit Kingdom" during this period. Imperial Japan forced Korea (hence gradually changed the original name of Corea to Korea) to open some ports to trade in 1876. Western nations signed commercial treaties with Korea during the 1880's. Imperial Japan defeated Qing China in the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895, and Japan's influence in Korea became greater than that of China.
"Japanese rule - In 1910, Imperial Japan took advantage and complete control of Korea. The Japanese governed and exploited Korea chiefly to benefit their own interests. They took over the management of Korean businesses. They also set up many new industries on the peninsula and put them under Japanese control. The Japanese government took much of the land in Korea and sold it to Japanese settlers. Japan in fact caused the division of Korea - Korea remained under Japanese control until 1945, when Japan was defeated in World War II. After Japan's defeat, U.S. troops occupied the southern half of Korea, and Red Russian forces occupied the northern half. A separate Korean government was formed in each half of the country. For two years, the United States, Russia, the two Korean governments, and Britain tried to develop a plan for reuniting Korea. They failed, and the United States submitted the problem to the United Nations (UN) in 1947."
