Vsauce

I just saw the Vsauce 2 ad and I am a bit disappointed. While it follows the same form as most Vsauce videos I have lost a great deal of respect for this channel. I am subscribed to Vsauce and have seen many Vsauce 2 plugs from their channel. After seeing this I am seriously considering unsubscribing. I didn't think they needed to pay Youtube to get more views so they could get paid more money from ads that pay youtube to play before the video. I guess 2,557,992 isn't good enough for them. Though I do appreciate the 'skip now' button being offered.

ohayo i have a question. Can humans naturally grow animal body parts such as gills from a fish or dog ears in replace of human ears? i wonder if you can answer this question and show proof it will be a great challenge i think. arigatou goazaimasu senpai

Hey Michel this is something I've been pondering since I warlike 2-ish. If there was no existence AT ALL (no universe, space, galaxies, ect....) what color would it be? Or what would be there?

Suggestion for a video: Cigarettes...I smoke and many others too, now we all know it's bad, but whats in an average cigarette, percentage wise (bad stuff, tobacco, etc.)? Who were the first people to start smoking(whether tobacco, marijuana, or whatever)? I've already looked up a lot of this stuff before but I think it would make a great video and we may all learn something.

Hi Michael. My father was talking to me about life and he told me about how we need stress in our lives and how it helps us live longer, if experienced to a non-morbid degree from time to time. The allegory he used was of a ship containing an aquarium that needed to transport fish. the fish were free of predators and eventually as the ship arrived a lot of the fish had died. another ship containing a predator for the fish had resulted in the fish living longer as they had experienced stress from their strive to survive. Could this be true? would we as humans live longer if we did or didn't experience stress of any sort to a moderate degree? - Vsauce fan

hey, first of all, huge fan :) second, i was reading the little prince recently and there is a part where the prince meets a guy who lives in a planet so small and quick that he has to light a lamp and turn it off constantly, i know its a kid´s book, but i wonder: how big would be that planet in order to spin that fast but don't shoot the lamp guy out to space because of the centrifugal forces? without considering the atmosphere and all that stuff, just how big it is. sorry for my english writting, im mexican.

Hi Michael, If I was so large as to be able to hold on to two galaxies, in a dark room, in each hand and then distance my hands so as to make them about 4 light years' apart (relative to their size). Following this I would close my hands to block their light, would I have to wait four years before the light between my hands vanish? Or would the speed of light remain constant to my size, in turn making 4 years for the tiny micro people in these galaxies seem like a micro moment to me?

Do you guys know that your video count is at 256, and that's the exact amount of information that can be stored in one byte? (1 byte = 8 bits, 256 = 11111111) That means that the next video uploaded will raise the # to 0000000100000000 for 2 bytes or just 100000000 for 9 bits!

I have a question that might sound stupid at first glance but here it is anyway. Is silver a colour? Still with me? Here is my reasoning, if you ask someone what colour a mirror is, almost everyone will say silver. But is it really? How can one tell if it is silver since all it does is reflect all the colours around itself? Wouldn't it technically have no colour since all we see is reflections? For non-flat objects such as a water tap, you can see a distinct silver colour but do you really? Could it just be the distorted reflections of the colours around the object giving the illusion of a silver colour? My thoughts are that even the dull, unpolished objects would have a grey-ish colour due to dust and other stuff collecting on the surface while the subsurface is still somewhat dimly reflecting some colour to enhance the silver appearance.

Space Question: 1) If the universe is expanding, what is it expanding INTO, meaning what is/was there prior to the universe taking over that space? Hi Vsauce! I was chatting with some mates and told them about how the internet would weigh the same as a strawberry. Their mind was blown, but they returned the favour the following day by asking me: "If someone had their mind erased, would they weigh less?" I had no clue, anyone have any ideas?
