When we, the cast and crew all sat down to pre-script the video, we listened to "I'd Rather Be Happy" and realized that we could all truly relate to the theme of the song. We have all been madly in love, and at some point heartbroken. It's extremely difficult, when you've been heartbroken, to even begin to think of how to pick up the pieces. When will I smile or laugh again, or start to feel slightly normal, or even leave the house. I wanted to make a light-hearted/fun video with a BIG message. In the moment, we tend to want to get back at the person, but time heals everything. It's so important to surround yourself with positive energy, loved ones, and friends...after awhile, you'll start to live again! The end, is a test, just when you think you are over your loved one, they re-enter your life, and TADA! You have finally moved on! I heard a quote somewhere, and it goes a little something like this, "Life is 10% of what happens to you, and 90% attitude", it's all about your perspective/view on a situation or life experience and how we choose to handle it. The beautiful thing is, WE ALL HAVE A CHOICE! Choose to be HA HA HA HAPPY! Thank you everyone for your wonderful spirits & involvement in this production! It's been an amazing journey!
