Stan Winston School

I'm making my own halloween costume this yea and my upper body (torso/abdomen) will be a suit made out of latex. But i want to to do it in separate pieces such as the shoulder/chest part is one half and my abdomen is another. Only reason i want it done like that, is cause it's different from everything else i've seen, i love challenges, and so that the chest part can hover over the abdomen part if i bend and such. SO how do i go about making it so? I've asked friends and they all said to make a manequin, and sculpt the clay (im using clay for the shoulders, chest piece and abdomen area) and then to mould those and then cast it all with latex. But how do i do it as two parts and not one full upper body suit? Thanks, i enjoy watching your videos as well. Really amazing stuff and interesting techniques.

Ansarum, It was INCREDIBLE revisiting Jurassic Park in 3D on the big screen. Spielberg is a master. Plus, the dinos held up beautifully, the re-mastered sound was brilliant, and the 3D itself was some of the best I've seen. If you haven't seen it yet, GO! -Matt

Great stuff here. Really interesting. Although I'd like it if there was more full videos. A large percentage of the videos uploaded are just teasers for the website.

I have waited for this since I saw the group got made on Facebook. This is what I want to do, even by staying in Norway, I can become one of Norways FX artists perhaps after taking these studies! The goals are unlimited until one say so :) this will be great!

The Jurassic Park movies and Stan Winston Studios is the reason I got into sculpting and puppet making back in 1993, and my passion for it has really grown over time. Loved watching the previews and looking forward to more!
