out of all of the linux distros out there, I installed puppy on a usb drive without any problems whatsoever. I am running windows 8 currently. having a usb os was so neat for me. i switched over to your windows and this channel since you stopped doing linux help guy.

why can I not run the webilder my linux says:Unable to start the settings manager 'mate-settings-daemon'. Without the MATE settings manager running, some preferences may not take effect. This could indicate a problem with DBus, or a non-MATE (e.g. KDE) settings manager may already be active and conflicting with the MATE settings manager. How do I fix this?

I can think of anyone better to have a look at this properly and is it as good as the original..Everyone seems to be going mad about it Chromiixium..It really does look like Chrome OS..I've been trying to create something similar in Gentoo..But this does look good although Ubuntu based which Chrome was originally..I've never figured out why they moved to Gentoo..Maybe you might..Nobody seems to know..In fact, most don't have a clue that it is a Gentoo OS..I'm still an Arch guy Steve but hell this is intriguing as it is something close to what I'm doing

I'm using Tahr 6.0.2 of PL I've installed the latest Skype and it seems to find webcam fine, but it complains  about not having Pulse Audio.  (Previous Skype supported ALSA but the new one doesn't)  I thought I would install Pulse Audio - (but maybe I think I found that it was already in PL) at any rate I haven't suceeded. Have you gotten Skype to work with 6.0.2?
